What a terrible experience renting from Northstar Village Rental for the first time. This was on December 24, 2024. My cousin ended up getting a terrible board which should not have been rented out in the first place. Because of the terrible board my cousin had to go back down to the village rental to get another board. Waste of time. The staff member mentioned we will get a refund upon returning everything. We came to return it at the end of the day and the staff member refuted ever saying that. I am not sure what helmet the rental place has but it did not protect my cousin's head as he now has a concussion. I do not recommend renting from this spot. Please rent elsewhere.

Rented gear here on New Years…nice staff that got us through fairly quickly. Probably in and out in 30 minutes and it was only lightly crowded. Gear was fine and we quickly hit the slopes from there.

The staff are generally untrained, I rented performances skis , boots . But had to fit authotic foot beds to boots, several staff didn’t know how to do this , we had to show them how to fit them . None had ever removed the lining of a boot! But they were all willing to learn. It’s a management flaw.

Rent from somewhere that uses bar code stickers with your name printed on them - here they write it in a non-waterproof marker that will wash off after 1 run. Then when someone takes your rental from a rack thinking it’s theres, all they have to tell you is they’ll charge you if it doesnt show up and your lift pass money is gone!

To maximize use of your ski pass do not rent here on weekends. Even with reservations it can be an hour. Without reservations 2 hours. It used to be a well oiled machine for walk-ups, but not this year.

Our group rented from here a few weeks ago and received excellent customer service from Myles throughout our rental period. Even after a slight misunderstanding, Myles went above and beyond to remedy the situation which was very much appreciated. 5 stars well deserved!

Quick service. Star very helpful. And you can pick up the skis one day earlier after 3pm, go start the next day all set.
