It's super rare to get great customer service, but I got it at Tognotti's. Aaron (I probably spelled that wrong) helped me attain a tool that is also rare.

He knew what it was (surprising to say the least),
He recognized that it may be something he should hold for me,
Then he went and did just that.

I got to tune and synchronize my dual carburetor '69 Volvo,
Aaron reminded me why I call Tognotti's Auto World.
Service, Knowledge, and Availability.

I'm a car guy and Tognottis was recommended to me for my built mustang fox body and since I'm in Sacramento twice a month I figured I would try it out instead of Summit Racing. We'll, that was a mistake sry to say, first purchase was a new harmonic balancer suitable for boosted cars, asked if I would need an adapter, was told no only to get it on my car AND need an adapter. So not exactly knowledgeable when asked a specific question. Should have just said "I don't know". Next visit I needed a new weld in bung for my intake pipe, I don't know the exact size but I have an idea because im just replacing parts that were already on my car. The guy behind the counter had them in stock he said, but this dude wouldn't even show me because I didn't know the EXACT size, wow! So he had them right behind him but refused to show me after i asked to see a few in and around the size i was looking for! Like I said I'm replacing a part so I know what I need. But he couldn't be bothered in an empty store to turn around a grab a few weld in bungs to show me. So therefore I can't be bothered to shop their store anymore. And I suggest any other person wondering of giving this store a shot, forget it, just go somewhere else where employees actually do their job and provide customer service!

After trying to find the mech. fuel pump at all the big box stores and internet sites and striking out....guess what not only did Tognotti have it in stock but at a great price.

Too bad I had to choose 1 start to write this
Don't waste your time or gas going to this store
Born and raised in Sacramento, I remember when this place was the place to go to get quality parts and quality service. Not anymore. Unless you want to argue with the so called service counter and have your money taken from you in the form of stocking fees and shipping fees just order it online yourself.....

Great Service! Called for part for my 1960 Willys wagon. They had it on the shelf, great price, correct part! No hassle went picked it up, dropped it off at repair shop. Old cars can be a pain in the butt to get stuff for but not in the hands of Tognottis. It's good to know there are still some good guys out there! Thanks Tognottis you have never disappointed,ever.

I've been going to tognotti's for years. 40 to be exact. I know they've been in business for over 50 years. This is the place I go for all my hotrod and classic car parts. They have a good prices on Holly and Edelbrock carburetors. Even though this place is a little far to go for me it's still is the best hot rod shop in all of Sacramento and surrounding areas.

There's something about a really big full of everything auto parts store that takes me back in the best kind of way. If you're looking for something for your car or truck, this place most likely has it!
