I went in there looking for set screws for old door passage set. Some guy was helping me and I could not find a fit, he took the old spindle and cleaned the threads. Got my screws and was very happy. Good price too.

Great customer service without the big box chain delays. Was able to get an AC part here that the other chains didn't have in stock and the overall time from foot in the door to out, was maybe 3 min at most so I saved a ton of time in an already busy day. Its a little out of the way for me but worth the drive. I'd rather fight traffic in my car than fight a long slow check out line. Thank you for the great customer service!

Their motto is, "If Hanks doesn't have it, then you don't need it " which is mostly true. It's like an ACE hardware but without the ACE prices. We bought all of our kitchen drawer hardware there and I stocked up on small screws, washers, and nuts. It's got a lot of neat tools and a huge variety of hardware. Parking is easy and it's easy to find off Winchester Road. People are Friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for plastic netting and the senior guy behind the counter told me isle 14 which surprised me because they must have 100,000 items in that store.

Hank's is THE best hardware store in the area, period. Their selection of hardware, in particular specialty items, is without comparison. Pricing is also better than other places. I have been going there for probably 10 years, and continue to be impressed when they end up having exactly whatever random item I need for a project. The staff is very knowledgeable about practical applications as well. Highly recommend.
