Topanga Canyon is a fun laid-back hippieish place place. Lots of interesting shops with handmade or locally made, locally produced items and goods. Everybody’s very friendly and you have a lot of choices if you want to just shop.
There’s clothing, restaurants, there’s a really cool rock and wood shop that has stunning examples of pretty much every mineral.

Topanga! Aaaaaah sweet Topanga!! Always delightful!! This place has so much personality. The tacos at the truck were amazing. The coffee at Water Lily is amazing. The caravan boutiques are SPECTACULAR!

This compact, walkable shopping area is a great resource for both canyon residents and visitors. In addition to several interesting shops and a couple of decent eateries there is the amazingly well stocked General Store and the fascinating Hidden Treasures shop across the road just bursting with trippy gift items and clothing. Do Not Miss It!

I attended the new Topanga Art Gallery location in Topanga Canyon last Sunday. A lovely gallery, great and varied art, and a free class in alcohol ink painting.

NOTE: There are at least two different locales mixed together in these reviews. The locale I wrote about is in the Canyon itself (in town of Topanga, halfway thru canyon toward beach.). The other Topanga mall is located in Woodland Hills, fronting Topanga Canyon Blvd. This error has been pointed out by others several times, but has not been corrected.
