This is my favorite gift store in the East Bay. The prices are very reasonable and the items for sale are so unique and beautiful. I have gifted many items from this shop to my family and friends and they love them. There’s a great variety so I can buy things for my funky friends and my more conservative mom. The owner is very nice and I love trading stories with her. Definitely check it out!

I spent over an hour here looking at all the great stuff .... Jewelry, cards, gifts, etc., much of it handmade, some handmade on-site, some stuff imported from Italy and France, a wonderful store to spend time in.

This owner blatantly stereotyped mejust now when I opened the door. I said, "Hello."
She said, "Can I help you?"
I responded, "I just wanted to look around. It looks like an interesting store."
She said, "I don't think so," and she motioned for me to leave.
I said that I felt like she was stereotyping me, and that I wondered why I was being discriminated against.
She said, "I just don't know whether you're okay."
I replied that I'm perfectly okay and sober and everything.
She proceeded to assume my gender, and she stated, "This is a women-owned store, so we have to be careful about some things."
I literally was just a polite customer interested in her beautiful seasonal window display. She retracted her statements and invited me to browse, but I no longer felt interested in shopping at a store that discriminated against me.
At one point I started recording our interaction, and then she suddenly started acting nicer.
She says she is the owner. She denied telling me that I wasn't welcome, whereupon I clarified that she just said, "I don't think so," when I wanted to look around.
I literally just opened the door and she didn't like how I was dressed, and she kept saying she doesn't know if I'm okay, but all I'd said was "Hello," and, "I'd just like to look around." And, I just showered and put on clean clothes, but I guess she doesn't like my tie-dye shirt and hat?
I will try to sue, if I get around to it

This shop is incredible. The owner is beyond gracious and eager to share her knowledge behind every piece. From vintage French beaded necklaces, to hand-created German resin pieces (designed and finished in-house), there's such an array to choose from. I can shop here for the funky best friend, down to my more conservative mother. If you enjoy supporting local business or have an eye for something fun and different, I suggest taking a peak inside.

This store is simply delightful! Handmade jewelry by the store owner, terrific gift cards, fantastic little gifts. Earrings of the Golden Gate Bridge, Frida Kahlo bracelets, Halloween themed jewelry, Dog necklaces, Toadstool rings. There's something for everyone, and you're shopping locally at a small business! Win win!

I never did find the sticker botanical book so thanks for giving me another copy. The day I bought the first one, I just found the receipt and I was charged $35 dollars instead of 24.99. It was really busy that day with about 4 other customers asking questions so I understand the mixup . I thank you the new copy to replace the one I am pretty sure I left somewhere in the store.
I love Favor and I don’t think I had ever been there before. I love the “peepers” I bought and the cards. I’ll be shopping there again. Your store has things I had never seen before.

I know the Jewelry is all one of a kind. I am a collage artist and am enjoying using the stickers in my work. They are almost too precious to take out of the book but I DID IT! See you again, Gail Robinson, Oakland

Absolutely wonderful place to buy hand-crafted jewelry. The artist makes almost everything herself. Purchased a really nice one-of-a-kind necklace and will be back to get more unique, bold pieces for myself and my friends.
