Jamie was recommended to me for stereo replacement/upgrade by a coworker and I could not be more satisfied with the work Jamie did. I have 1986 BMW 325 that's near stock. I wanted to replace and upgrade the 37 year old sound system, without sacrificing any of the OEM parts or look of the car. Jamie walked me through the parts and process step by step and provided insight and guidance that I wasn't able to get at other car stereo stores. He worked with me to to execute the exact vision I had for my car and when things got a little expensive, he worked with me on price. The attention to detail and approach Jamie and his team took, resulted in what can only be described as studio level listening experience. He replaced all the speakers, rewired the car, added tweeters, a sub, an amp, a processor and bluetooth connectivity, and I was able to keep my OEM head unit. The car still looks stock and now sounds incredible. I look forward to driving it everyday and figuring out what song to listen to next. Highly recommend working with Jamie if you need stereo work done or want to explore upgrading your sound system.

Jaime and Mike installed a vinyl wrap on our Audi A4. They did an outstanding job and were very thorough with the details. They were very courteous and professional. The wrap installed was a anthracite matte metallic silver. They made suggestions for the accent colors on the door handles, mirrors and antenna. It made the car look very custom. Everything came out looking great. We would highly recommend Al & Ed's for wraps and any other service they provide!

Jaime is a nice buy.....but be careful....if you pick up your car and the electrical system is suddenly ruined he won't fix it but will blame the car! I took my 1995 Town Car that was working perfectly into the place to have a radio installed. But, when I picked up the car the "ping tone" was ON when the door was opened up...even with no key in the ignition. I asked them about it but they acted like it was that way when I brought it in. The "ringing tone" stayed on whenever the door was opened but that wasn't so bad but...THE NEXT MORNING THE BATTERY WAS DEAD! I bought a new battery, I took it to the Lincoln Dealer, I took the car to my neighborhood repair shop...who told me even when the ignition was OFF....there was an electrical drain. I came back to Jaime who told me it needed a certain part. I bought "the part" he recommended and he installed it. But the ping continued as soon as I opened the door..but this time the windows wouldn't work. Finally I took him to small claims court but because he was "an expert" the judge believe him and not me! The upshot was that a car that was "perfect" is now "junk"...in good conscience I can't even sell it. NOT GOOD!!!

Awesome! I went in with a friend just to get quotes to have a wire ran in my friends mustang, Jaime was extremely knowledgable and nice to deal with. I have been working with stereo equipment for many years and his knowledge far surpassed mine and anyone i have ever known, If you want a stereo installed in your ride this is guy and the place to get it done period.

Great Guys. Dont let many people work on my ride but after talking with the owner i trusted them Fixing the wiring on my New camaro. Fast work without lacking in quality and it all came at an affordable price. To anyone reading and who may regard genuine feedback, Steer Clear of The Other competitor Shops in the Area (Phantom Electronic's/Stereo) they are a waste of time and you'll end up at This Shop...

Thanks again!

Nice guys, but I'm pretty disappointed overall.

3 active crossovers on each line? 2 running hi pass filters on the same lines? Caused distortion issues that have been bugging me for ages.. I just wasn't willing to take it back after how much I had paid them, especially since I had taken it to them to fix distortion and static issues in the first place.

I finally just grabbed the bull by the horns and started reading up and downloaded all of the setup software for the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.3 line DSP (which is fully functional and not damaged in any way - they said it was broken and actually got a warranty replacement issued by Rockford that will be arriving soon).

They had my car for 3 business days, but I drove home with only the sound of road noise.

Parked my car and got my radio working in under 15 minutes.. spent a few hours tinkering with things and got it sounding pretty good.

Edit: sold me Stinger 4000 interconnects but used Stinger 1000s. The line out to the rear passenger door woofer was on the jumpered woofer inputs (not the output). The amp input was wired to the jumpered tweeter inputs. I took it back to the Encino Al & Ed's twice and then Thousand Oaks twice and they couldn't even check the passive crossover wiring on the channel I was reporting distortion on? What a joke and waste of my time..

My son took his car into them becuase he had had it at another shop in Thousand Oaks at least 6 times to get the work done. Then the deck he bought that was recommended they had to replace. Finally I told him we should take it to Al and Eds. After son eating the first deck he got exactly what he wanted from here and worked flawless. They dynamated the doors and adjusted the stereo so now its awesome. I went back with my car and they dynamat mine as well. Great service good prices, my go to place for car audio.

I cannot rate this place low enough. My car stereo stopped playing sound on one side, so I came in to get it fixed. I had to call them for updates throughout the day, and the one update I did get was right before closing time when they tell me they put in $700 worth of speakers but they don't work because I needed a new radio too. I have no idea why they wouldn't check that first and I don't trust them enough to know what the problem really was. Had they finished in the time they said they would, maybe I could have gotten this sorted out that day, but instead I drove around for the next week with these $700 speakers in my car that don't play sound. I come back the next weekend, where they were not only 35min late to open but also forgot I had an appointment. I wouldn't have been so bothered by the aggressive upselling if they had offered to take any blame for leaving me with an expensive and incomplete sound system. There was no discount after all of the consistently terrible customer service, and at the end of the day, I spent $1100 on a new system that is somehow only marginally better than the stock one I had. I now know to never waste money on upgrading a car stereo system, and if for some reason I need a repair, I also know where not to go. Lesson learned!
