Absolutely fabulous local music store. Has something for everyone, and the owners are great. In addition to selling instruments and accessories, they also put on several regular events such as open mics, jams, and concerts. They truly embody All Things Music. Highly recommend!

A wonderful family oriented music shop in beautiful Valley Center - what an unexpected treat! Eric & Amanda have created a warm environment with a great mix of country & modern touches making for a relaxing visit with great people. Especially when they host live events ranging from open mic night where local talent strut their stuff - to young traveling musicians that are sure to create lasting memories of wonderful live music in a truly intimate setting where every seat is front row. Very exciting to have this new store here in town! Great location for local musicians and learners, band students, recording studios and anyone who loves music. I have attended 3 different live music events so far, and it's very enjoyable for listening. My guys have purchased items for their guitars and, oh, a guitar! The owners and staff are wonderful.

I went in today looking for a speaker cable and the owner sold me one of his personal cables. The store is immaculate and very inviting. They have some great guitars, basses, banjos, and acoustics. I would much rather support this small business over guitar center. The staff and owner were very kind and welcoming. I’m stoked to have an independent music store I can shop at. Also, they have cool Orange amplifier stickers, which made my day. They have a newsletter that updates readers on live shows and open mics in the store. So rad!

All Things Music is a great place to visit. The atmosphere and people within made it feel as if the store has been a part of our town for ages.
All of the lesson rooms were filled with tutors and enthusiastic students. The main area was busy with kids and adults eager to explore every inch. My youngest son was allowed to hold and pluck a few strings of a banjo for the first time, and my oldest son bought a brand new pair of drumsticks for his snare. We are looking forward to visiting All Things Music on a regular basis.

Amazing place! At what was once the community pharmacy, All Things Music, a new Valley Center music store, is still a place to heal one's soul! I have been to the store 6 times in a little over a month. Once to check it out after reading an article about it in The Road Runner and then with my husband, Alan, for his guitar strings. Third time, he left a guitar for consignment. However, it was visits 4, 5 and 6 that really hooked me. I do not play an instrument at the time, but still was welcomed and enjoyed the great local musicians at the "soft" opening (about 35 people). The next week the monthly open mike Thursday, hosted about 10 musicians who played and sang all original music (again about 30 people). The following week, I attended a north county folk and bluegrass circle with another audience of over 30 people during which there were some sing alongs. I have felt very welcomed each time by the ATM staff, guests and musicians. Surrounded by a beautifully decorated store, I have seen happy families come in, take lessons, buy first time instruments, and seen musicians of all ages quickly call this place home. I am eagerly looking forward to the big opening next week. Thank you for bringing some sounds of joy into Valley Center. - Celia
