Customer service has severely declined recently. I’m not sure if it’s a change in corporate policies, a staffing issue, or maybe both, but it’s sad to see the shift. I shop here and online often, and recently purchased a button up sweatshirt online. I took the tags off before noticing that 1 button was chipped. I went to the store within 60 days with proof of purchase and requested a merchandise credit as the item was clearly defective. The staff declined to honor my request and the manager told me that the quality of the clothing “just isn’t the same after the first wash.” It seems as though the brand and staff don’t stand by their products and don’t value their customers.

Very disappointed in their policies. My wife has shopped here for years. Their pants fit her well. She tried on a different pair than she usually gets and they fit perfect in the store. Took them home and laundered them. She put them on after and they widened at the waist and were completely bigger and no longer sharply like they were in the store. We tried to return them as the material seems defective and they refused to take the return since they were washed. If a pair of pants show they are defective when washed, do we just not wash them. Seems silly. Anyhow, know that even if pants are defective and malformed American Eagle does not support their product or customer. They told us we can donate them though. Sorry no pictures of the pants in this review.

Jean shopping is already hard to do but luckily there was Izzy to help! Izzy helped me find two of my new favorite jeans (: she was super helpful and honest! Later DD had also such great customer service! Thank you for such a great experience shopping here at American Eagle. <3

I went to American Eagle yesterday looking for pair of jeans bc I lost weight n some of my jeans r to loose on me now. When I went in I ask for help. Aaliyah was amazing help and she never judged me like post store do. I usually don't go into American Eagle bc there close r to small for me but when Aaliyah told me that they have since 20 I was very happy. She very caring n sweet. I appreciate her listening to me and finding what I needed. I would definitely be coming back again and hope she can help me look for more clothes in the future.

I had an excellent experience shopping at this store last weekend. Mrs. Hayley was able to help me find the right fit for jeans and also found a couple new shirts that would match my shoes and other outfits I had planned. Overall she was very knowledgeable about the products at the store and was able to help me level up my wardrobe. Not gonna lie, my lady loves the new outfits I got. So all I can say is keep her around because she is phenomenal.

I really enjoyed my experience today shopping with Izzy. Personable customer service is always a plus and makes a huge difference in how I feel about the store. As a whole AE has always been a favorite place for me to shop. However the service received today from Izzy was exceptional! Please make available more jeans in short so I don’t always need to order them. Also bring back Midi Length shorts for the mature short person like myself. Thank you AE for being consistent. I’ll be back!

I LOVE this store! The staff is so friendly and always greets us at the door. I’ve been shopping at AE since the early 90’s! My tween couldn’t wait to start shopping there and the staff informed me that their sizes start at XXXO AND XXS! Fits her like a glove and now she’s the trendiest 11 year old out there!
