I scheduled an appointment online to have someone look at an issue I was having with my AirPods. I met with Jason at the Genius Bar and he was so helpful and efficient! He explained everything he was doing, which involved a diagnostic test and resolution on the spot. He gave me advice for what to do at home if the issue happens again. Quick and easy visit.

I've been standing in an almost empty Apple Store at Fashion Island, ready to make a purchase with items in hand, yet these two guys from customer service, Tarik and Mason, seemed completely disengaged. They were walking around without acknowledging customers, leaving me waiting to pay with no assistance in sight. After spending $2,800, I didn’t feel good walking out of the store. I expected much better from Apple. This experience was truly disappointing and does not reflect the high standard of service I associate with the brand.

The store is super clean. The staff is very helpful. You also have appointments at the Genius Bar for service issues.

I love going in to see and put my hands on new Apple Devices. Love their technology.

IPhones, iPads , watches , computers , displays peripherals and more.

The worst solution ever given by Genius Bar.
I visited Apple store in Fashion Island / Newport on Sunday 10/6/2024 with a major issue in my iPhone 16 Pro Camera.
The camera wouldn’t open until I restart my phone. This was happening every single day since they replaced my first iPhone 16 Pro for audio issues ((in other words… I had Two brand new iPhone 16 Pro in less than a month and both of them have had a major issue)).
NOW… the solution suggested by the guy from the Genius Bar was to ERASE my iPhone.. finish the setup WITHOUT restoring my data and apps … THEN REINSTALL all the apps from scratch.
I told him I have tons of apps and this solution will cause me a lot of headache but he insisted on this SILLY solution
When I say SILLY I mean it because whats the point of doing backups if we can’t use them … and whats the point of buying extra backup plans.
After 15 minutes of him trying to convince me with his solution… he said let me ask one of my coworkers… looks like the other guy is more experienced than him and told him that this camera issue is happening for a lot of customers…. So the other SILLY solution was to wait until the next update ((which may happen in a day, a week, or maybe a month … who knows)).
AND if the new update didn’t solve the issue … then I need to do the first solution
Personally… I prefer not to use the camera all my life but not reinstalling all my apps, passwords, MFAs … and so on.

Terrible customer service, rude staff, i think it was the manager or so who acted like he does not care about the business at all. I was gonna buy 2 iphones and had to wait 20 minutes, asked this guy if they’re short staff I can go back at a later time and his response is”we will be short staff next time you’re here!”

Spilled coffee on my MacBook 🙁 and sadly, the cost to repair is as much as buying a new one. Mars, the tech guy, is very helpful and worked quickly on my problem.
So I guess I’ll get myself a new Mac for Xmas 🙂

Back of my iphone 15 screen was damaged, had my appointment at 4/30 pm, picked up phone as planned at 6 pm, camera was still completely broken. Had to wait another hour to get it fixed. Completely luck of respect to client time.
