Haven't even gotten my service or my phone yet. Just the shipping itself is enough for 1 stars. Who is still using USPS in 2024? That's like guaranteed customer dissatisfaction.
Been waiting over a week for my phone that I don't even need I just need my new sim. No stores to go to to get it. USPS keeps lying and giving false shipping dates/locations and pushing my delivery back. Now been waiting over a week just to be able to attempt to turn my phone on an after reading these reviews don't like what I have to look forward too -_-

Something I've been noticing a great deal lately is that calling customer service lines is the most time consuming as well as time wasting endeavors I can possibly attempt during my oh so precious time off of work. I went through this company for the Lifeline program. I chose it because they included a free cell phone, but what I hadn't anticipated is that the phones are the cheapest of the cheap repurposed Chinese phones you can possibly get. There's a 1 year replacement warranty on the phone, which I had to use because after having it for less than a month it suddenly locked up and wouldn't turn on; nor could I pop out the battery or have any success with their troubleshooting suggestions. I was supposed to FedEx the broken phone back & they would send a new one. Of course they claimed not to have received it; leaving me phoneless even longer. I finally got the replacement phone & it was broken before the original 1st year was up, but they said they only do 1 replacement & I'd have to pay $75 for their cheapest replacement. They transfer you to different departments and it's always a long drawn out ordeal. Sometimes you don't receive texts or others don't receive yours, & the call quality is terrible as well.

I saw that SafeLink was also providing phones so I switched. Of course Assurance shut my service off in the middle of the night; well before I got my new phone. I can't believe how much better the phone is & has way more memory. Don't bother with the refer a friend program through Assurance. I had to argue for days for the Amazon gift Card Assurance was supposed to have sent me.

Do yourself a favor and choose SafeLink!

So you know the free phones you can get and tablets that you can get if you're on snap benefits or Medicaid

What they don't tell you is when you apply for a phone they switch your service provider. So like if you have Comcast they switch your service provider without your knowledge and without your consent to access telecom

If you're on the ACP program where you're getting a stipend for your internet service from the government, if they switch you to access telecom you lose that with your service provider

And on top of that the guy that I asked for a phone from told me I wasn't able to get a phone until November but he lied. He actually gave me a phone but kept the phone so that he could double dip the price. He gave the phone to somebody else and told me I was not able to get one and switched me to this access telecom

I had to spend 2 hours on the phone. Make four or five different phone calls to different companies to switch myself back to Comcast from this junk access Telecom that did not have permission to switch my service nor to even my knowledge that they did that

If you try to get a free phone or tablet, avoid it because they will switch your service without telling you they lie and cheat and steal

Was a customer of this company for 12 years until the recertifying papers I sent in a month ahead of time evidently didn't reach their destination as scheduled. My service was discontinued, and I tried for months to get it reconnected to no avail. I made dozens of calls, even reapplied; each time I was reassured my service would be reinstated. It didn't happen. I wrote the CEO of the company and got no response. After four months, I finally gave up and applied to another company. I received a phone and had service within five days. I would never deal with this company again.

My experience with this company has been poor customer service, Tech support do not seem knowledgeable of their job. They have nvm resolved any of my issues. Solution is always order new phone. Despite requests for super they refuse. They insist you order a new phone to fix all tech issues.Put in request and nvm received replacement. They are not green. They do not recycle old phones. Photo of typical wait times. They provide no documentation. So no receipts for phone tablet purchases. Can’t change companies until they disconnect service. Btw was told 48hr process to disconnect. Left numerous message for super call back. No response.I don’t recall being asked security questions. Which is suspicious to me. Again my experience nothing personal. I may reconsider pending ratings in the future.

Not this location! But the carrier themselves.....
Stole a whole month of data from me. Told me I used it. Even though I know I didn't. Wouldn't tell me how I used it. Then charged me for 3 gigs at $15 and stole that too!
Just now, they stopped my text messages and told me as of the 5th, I've got to pay $15 just to keep service. My phone is locked for 12 months so I can't switch my number over to another carrier until August. So I can't even let people know that my number has changed.
Horrible horrible horrible business practices!

My issue is with the phone and the phone service. More often than not my alarm does not work , but later says missed alarm. When I have an incoming call it rings but nothing comes up on the screen so I have to push the power button which either hangs up on the caller , which isn't always a bad thing , or I have to push the power button and scroll down so it brings up the little answer or put on speaker box . The other night I dialed a friend and could hear music while it was dialing and then someone dialing , so I hung up and called back and she was t playing music and didn't even have the phone in her hand . It's just one thing after another.

3 weeks ago I went to a store called Metro in Belleville New Jersey he was very nice to help me with my issue he made a mistake and put a block on my phone both of my phones have block. He let me use his phone to call your company the lady told me to hold up a second shall explain the whole situation to her she said she was going to get back to me she did do that she got back on the phone and told me I have to wait a little bit few minutes later it went to reading machine and then hanged up on me that's how you help your customers hanging up the phone because of you I've been sending you a lot of text message telling you the unblock my phone nobody is listening to me now I have to take you to quit this is government phones. Is your fault I had to go to another company and they gave me a chip and they told me if I have a government phone it should work and now it's not working on that phone you're doing something to me I see you in court next month if you don't want to go to court unblock my phone where I can get it turned on with the other company soon as possible.
