The initial delivery was same day as promised ,what was not expected however was them sending me a phone with a remote management lock on it from medical education and research institute making it impossible to set up and use the phone,now I’m without a phone for way more time because they didn’t take precautions to check if the device they sent out was useable

If I could give them a zero star i would. So my screen cracked on my phone around 28 Oct 2022. I placed a request to get the screen repaired for $29.00. This time unlike before I had to mail my phone off to Orlando, Fl. The instructions said to backup your phone before sending it in. Well, I was unaware of how to backup the phone. So as to protect my data, I wrote a word document saying i was unable to backup my phone, please do not erase my data.

Well, I got an email stating they were unable to repair my phone so I purchased a replacement phone for $249.00. The next day my old phone and my replacement came in. I was about to take the phone to verizon so they could transfer my date from my old device to the new device. To my surprise Asurion had did the very thing I told them not to do. Erase my data.

I immediately said a few choice words. What am I going to do now all my data, pictures, passwords and secure data was gone. I reached out to asurion to have them explain to me why they went against what I stated in my word document. A person working for Asurion named Beana stated to me that it says on their website to backup your data. So I agreed with her on what it said. However: I asked her if she would have read a message from a customer stating not to erase their phone what would she have done. She stated, " I would have went as far as I could go with repairing then If it would have required an erasing of data, i would have stopped and sent the phone back to the customer. I said, " you are correct" Beana, so why didn't your staff stop. She couldn't answer. I asked for a Supervisor.

The manager/supervisor Moni gets on the phone and everything was reexplained. She stated she would investigate and contact me on the next day. Well today 2 Nov 2022 is that day. She said they will compensate me with a $50. 00 certificate. I was not pleased with such little compensation. She did reach out to verizon to see if they could compensate me as well. Verizon said they are willing to request a $20 credit on my account but not guaranteed.

Verizon has nothing to do with Asurion actions. I am appreciative of the little compensation but I am not made whole. All my memories of pictures, secure data in my secured folder and passwords are gone. The least Asurion could have done was reimbursed me the purchase price of $249 for the replacement phone.

This company leadership is lacking communication and training to the employees below. I wish their was another company I could use to protect my phone, but unfortunately this is the only sorry company that's out their that I am aware of.

To the readers Asurion does not read nor care about any instructions that you send in with your phone. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Everytime I'm on the phone with them it's at least 3 hours to go through the same we can't access your account etc and have me change my pin # several times just for it not to work, and finally get into my account set up my appointment just for them to not show up today makes the third call and no show appointment in two weeks 😡

Not a very good experience trying to do my first claim, they describe the claim process as an easy way to do it but I wasted like 2 hours trying to get my first claim approved without success

I mean we know all insurance is a scam but these garbage folks take my personal cake. Why help people when you can just milk them dry and laugh on the way to the bank? Not like this will change anything, just wanted to let you know I hate you and think you're scum

My technician, this morning, 8.31.2022, Riverstone Commons Circle, was exceptional! He was polite, courteous, very intelligent! I was very happy with his work on my cell phone!
