It's hard to figure out what to rate these guys. My phone has now stopped registering the sim, rendering it useless as a phone, after Berkeley Phone repair fixed the screen.
That being said, when they damaged a different internal component, they have fixed it. I assume the wiring was done poorly, and don't know whether I trust them to fix it again, or if I should take my phone to someone else.

Full story: I brought in my Samsung A73 with a broken screen, and they ordered a new screen and frame. In the process, the technician ruined a screw on the USB charger and told me I would have to come back once the replacement part (on the house) had arrived. The new screen was off-brand. Within hours, I noticed that the earpiece for phone calls wasn't working, and that night, the screen completely flipped out, registering touches everywhere, while being nonresponsive. Took it back in and they replaced it with a genuine Samsung screen. A month later the usb charger stops working suddenly. I take it back in and they fix that. A month later, the sim completely stops registering. I don't know how many times I'll need to deal with phone problems because of faulty wiring...

My phone wouldn’t charge unless I bent the cord , I called Multiple spots and every phone repair spot would charge $100 plus . Berkeley phone repair only charged me $40 to fix my charger port . Thank you so much I highly recommend And will definitely be coming back

Hands down the best place for glass cover repair! True story. The customer service alone makes you feel like you're dealing with friends and not strangers. They give you a great price for a new screen and it looks amazing after the repairs. My Boyfriend phone screen was even worse than mine when his screen shattered after dropping it. He got a great deal to replace the screen and his phone looked great! Great customer service and they will have your phone looking brand new. This place will be our go to for any phone issues in the future. They also refused a tip. You won't be disappointed.

The glass covering the 1x camera lens on my iPhone 13 pro had cracked and left the lens exposed. I walked in to get a quote on how much the repair would cost since Apple had quoted me for $500 to repair the phone or trade in my current phone to replace the entire phone. I was so surprised when I was told by the employee here that the repair would only cost $49 ($55 with tax) and could be done in 20 minutes. He did a great job because my pictures are virtually back to normal. There is a minor reduction to the camera quality that could be contributed to how well the camera was cleaned prior to the installation of the glass.

Arrived in the U.S. with Tracfone top-up SIm from EBay. Needless to say after long waits for Tracfone's "customer service" only to receive a sales pitch we went to our local phone store and had our issues dealt with in a professional and knowledgable manner. Wish we had waited to go local rather than trying to 'save' a few dollars.
