I've been purchasing from B & H Photo Video for many years yet have never left a review which I'm doing at the present. B & H is a very fine retailer providing outstanding service in accompaniment with the customer service. Their prices are compatible with all other retailers and sometimes are far better. The quality of merchandise is excellent. I've never had any issues with B & H over the years and their shipping rates are more than reasonable. We would highly recommend B & H Photo Video as their products excel many other vendors. Actually, B & H provides concierge service.Thank you very much B & H for the continued support and service.

* On my recent purchase for the Seahorse SE230, the quality is outstanding as there is ample room for a full size Beretta 92FS and ammo to boot. Some have stated there is not enough room for a full sized 9mm Beretta which is untrue as exhibited by the enclosed photo. In addition there is one padlock hole in the middle for a lock. There are two layers of foam padding on the bottom as the top layer can be cut to the dimensions of the item placed within.The 'plastic' locking mechanism is excellent. We would strongly recommend the Seahorse SE230 without any doubt, none.

I've only ever had a phenomenal experience with B&H. When I order online, they dispatch my items almost immediately. The slowest I've ever gotten was next-day dispatch (!). My typical experience is "order-one-day-collect-from-mailbox-the-next". In fact, I just made an online order and got a text that my order was ready within 5 minutes.

My in-store experiences have been equally seamless. Once, I needed to return an item -- it was perfectly fine, just too heavy for my setup -- and the return process was completed in under three minutes, no questions asked, no receipt required. The store rep even thanked me for taking the time to return the item in a pristine condition, wrapped in a zip-lock bag.

On another occasion, I placed an online order but was supposed to wait for text confirmation. However, I had to catch a flight and couldn't afford to wait. I ran to the store, and Emily from customer service rushed the process so I could get what I needed in time.

B&H is an unbelievable store, the ultimate destination for all things photo and video. It's like the Strand for books or Mood for fabrics—only with exceptional customer service. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow this store is unreal, felt like walking into toys R us as a kid. There’s so much cool stuff, this is where the Pros shop, I stumbled in because it was raining. Everything here is top of the line come with money. 🔥

I recently bought a Sharp Aquos Board, and let me tell you, its packaging is about as sturdy as wet tissue paper. You ship this thing ground, and it's a miracle if it arrives without looking like it fought in a medieval battle. Now, throw in FedEx, with their *New and Unimproved* services, and the odds of your package arriving intact plummet to zero.

The first display B&H sent me arrived looking like it survived a war zone. Naturally, I asked for a replacement. I even gave them a couple of solid tips: double-box it and *maybe* try a different carrier? Did they listen? Nope! They shipped the replacement in the exact same flimsy packaging, via FedEx again. And surprise, surprise—the box had a giant gash in it. I refused the delivery on the spot while it was still on the truck, like any sane person would.

Now, I can’t entirely blame B&H. Their customer service team is responsive enough. But their warehouse crew and middle managers? I’m convinced not a single one of them has thought, “Hey, maybe if we package this better, we won't have to keep sending replacements.”

As for FedEx, they’re on a downward spiral. Their prices are going up while their performance is going down. I’m seriously counting down the days until Amazon starts delivering *non*-Amazon packages. And don’t even get me started on Sharp. You’d think they’d realize all these damaged screens might be bad for business. For five bucks more, they could package these things like LG does, and we wouldn’t have this problem.

This is failure at all levels including me for expecting a different result the second time around 😔.
