That place is fantastic! Rachel and Dennis were welcoming, friendly and treated us like friends! Rachel helped us and was VERY knowledgeable! She let me try out 3 different bikes to get the right fit! She upgraded my friend to a more technical e-bike which she didn’t have to. She and Dennis patiently answered our questions, set up an extra bag to hold bike locks and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great day! Thank you so much Bike Truckee! We’ll define be coming back! The bakery and coffee shop next door also made other friend very happy!

My wife’s bike broke down on our trip to Truckee. I checked with bike shops in the area. Dennis and Rachel at Bike Truckee were the most helpful. We went to the shop and they took time to help us pick out a new bike explaining the features and benefits. They also helped with accessories to help make the bike more enjoyable. All their advice was spot on as they enjoy the sport. They took such great care of us, I have already recommended others to them from out of town. I am also buying another bike from them. Great to see such great service and friendly people in business. I highly recommend them.
The Truckee River Legacy Trail is right next to their shop. This is a must ride beautiful trail. Rent a bike from them if you don’t have one. You will love it. There are places to stop and picnic by the river or on one of the benches or tables on the trail. It is mostly flat and follows the Truckee River through the pine trees.

Outstanding, in every respect. Friendly and knowledgeable staff provided great advice and service. The equipment was in really good condition. Exactly what we needed for our trip. The shop is in the perfect location to jump on the paved trail along the Truckee river or head up behind the store to some great mountain bike trails. We will Definitely be back.

We walked in with no reservations, 5 of us, 3 of those 5 having very little experience on bikes and all of not familiar with the trails.

The staff was awesome, lined us out on equipment , helped the rookies, and gave us great advice on things to do and places to stop on our trek.

Super friendly, helpful, everything you could ask for. Just a great group of people. We picked them because of their reviews, and they did not disappoint. We had a great day, and that was mostly because of them. Nature provided the scenery, and they provided the rest.

Wow, what a great experience & wonderful staff @ Bike Truckee! I just rented an e-mtn bike for 6 days of amazing riding around Tahoe. Dennis, Brent, Noah & Allison were super helpful on the rental process, bike fitting, great equipment & suggested trails in the surrounding area. I would recommend them to anyone looking to ride singletrack or a paved trail (which I did w/ my wife) in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Thank you Bike Truckee! TH

Def recommend for great raw scenery! They were great showing us how to use e-bikes and roughed out some great routes. 23miles later we were in love with area!
