Glen, the owner of Bill’s Mower and Saw, is very professional, extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and surprisingly pleasant to talk to. He throughly and patiently explained the specs of the zero turn mower we purchased without pushing for the sale.

If you’re buying an expensive item like riding or zero turn mowers, Bill’s is the place to go. You will never in your lifetime get to talk to someone at Lowe’s or Home Depot about any machinery or product and get the information that you’re looking for to make wise purchasing decisions. These big box store will sell you the product & deliver it to your doorstep by hired delivery personnel who doesn’t know anything about the product. On past experiences, they said “I’m just the delivery guy.”

My experience here was non existing. We took our lawn mower to be checked but were not told how long it would take. We called several days later to inquire and we heard the owner yell in the back ground “tell her to pick it up now, I don’t have time right now”. I immediately picked it up. Very rude man! Will never take my business there and don’t recommend that you take your business there, unless you want to be belittled. This business should be thankful that the residents of this town are taking him business. I had read that he was rude but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. People were right!

I took my backpack blower for repair. Would not start. They had it for 2 weeks So I called them. They said my blower was up next., The very next day they called and said it was DOA. Dead on arrival. He said he found metal shavings in the piston So I took it home and thought I would just mess with it Noticed the throttle cable was disconnected So I put it back on and it fired right up I don't think they even looked at it it runs just fine now.

These folks are great to deal with,I live in Tennessee bought a weed eater coil off his eBay store that ended up being defective I called them up,Glen went through a few checks and no hassle mailed out another coil the next day. Sure is good to know there are some honest folks still in business. I will recommend these guys to everyone! Thanks for your help

Laura was really helpful, she showed my where my serial numbers for my lawn mower engine and frame were.

I went in for a replacement blade as its my first year into lawn maintenance industry & still pretty rookie . she came out promptly with the right part for a extremely reasonable price. She also recommended some of the top of the line tools and explained to me why they were so good. And gave me a sticker to put on my tool box.

Very very satisfied with my visit. I suggest checking them out.

I needed a new primer button for my mower and took it in to make sure I got the right one. I told the young man I needed a primer button and I know it is easy to put on simply by using a socket to go over the primer and tapping the metal ring on. He told me grab your mower and I can tap one on. I brought the mower in and he took it back and within a couple of minutes I heard it start up. Like I said I know it only takes a minute to put it on.

He then brings the mower out and then tells me it started first pull but then starts to tell me he doesn't know how much longer it will last. Said he could rebuild everything for $125. Then continues to try and sell me a new mower in the $400-$450 range. I explained I have a very small yard and this one was still working fine. Then he tried to sell me a self push mower for $350 range. Once again I said I was fine just needed the primer button. When he rang me up for the button I got the bill and he charged me for a full hour of labor which he never mentioned anything about before taking the mower. Now I paid an additional $15 for a hour of labor when he took my mower for less than 5 minutes and tapped the new button on. If he had told me he was going to charge me $15 for a hour labor for a simple task, I would have told him I could do it myself. However, the task was so simple and he said I will knock one on for you I did not expect to get charged for a hour of labor.

I paid it and decided if that is the way they do business I will take my business elsewhere. I felt like I was completely misled by him saying I will knock one on and his 5 minutes of time was worth a hour of labor for something I could have easily done myself. I left feeling like I was ripped off and was talking to a car salesman just trying to sell me something new. I will not be back there again and when it is time for a new mower I would not spend my money here.
