I stopped by this Boarders store today inside Westfield Topanga Mall while my wife was shopping at Macy. This store is in the second floor right next to Macy, T-Mobile and H&M. I came right when they open so I was the first customer inside. I looked at some of their tshirts and a worker told me about their current deals right now. I then walked to the skateboard area and they had some nice boards on the wall. They seem fully stocked today and I like some of the designs on the shirts they had. I also looked at their sunglasses since I saw they carried Oakley brand here. They carry Nixon watches here as well if you're interested. I had a good experience here this morning and didn't have any issues.

The workers here don’t do anything besides stand behind the counter, stare at you while asking for help, and talk about you when you walk away. The girl was disgustingly rude and doesn’t know customer service. All I asked was a simple shoe size…after describing the shoe and her not knowing and just staring…she made me walk all the way to the front to get the shoe then continued to just STARE again… and gave me no shoe size lol. Super awkward experience. Maybe the staff need more common sense training?

It's okay. I'm a slave to corporate consumerism so, I like it for obvious reasons.

Couple of experiences I didn't like.
When I used to be a bigger bodied person, I went in looking for a 2X sweater. The girl was low key kind of rude about it telling me they only went to XL.
What really bothered me was when they dropped the Santa Cruz pokémon collab, they set no limit on how many one person can buy at a time. So some dude in front of me walked out with eight friggin boards.
At that point I said duck it and bought the last two. 💁‍♂️

Amazing experience with a great staff! Very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to their products and I felt so comfortable shopping there! I asked for a size on a shoe and I was helped by their manager Ladell who brought out options for me to choose from. I ended up buying 2/5 pairs that was brought out because they were running a sale and I took advantage of it.

I originally bought 2 t-shirts. One for myself and one for my girlfriend. Being on vacation from the Netherlands it can be quite a hassle paying with my debit card as I don't have a credit card. It is not clear which stores accept my Dutch ING debit card. When I ask the person behind the counter it is always, "Yes we accept debit card". Only to be greeted with the message "Declined". Luckily my girlfriends father had a credit card and jumped in to pay for me. When I got home I checked my bank account and noticed I got a charge put on reservation. This can be normal when your card declined so I thought nothing of it, however a day later the payment got through and my bank told me to go back to the store (I got charged twice). I explained my story to the staff and they were very friendly and supportive and immediately issued me a refund for the total amount! It is a shame I'm leaving otherwise I would definitely come back!
