Edited: contacted the cox help email and they kept spamming my phone with the 2 step verification code and were adamant that I give them the code. I’ve never had to give away a security code this is very unprofessional. I’m just going to dispute the charge with my bank and switch over to Verizon home internet

What a joke of a company and a joke of a store. I bought a WiFi extender pod and it didn’t help. I returned it a week later(within the 30 day window) and they said my refund would be on the next billing cycle. Next cycle comes by and I still had to pay the $130. I contacted the store and cox support and they both said to pay it and it will be refunded on the next billing cycle. Well a month later and still no refund on the billing cycle. Called cox support and they said there’s nothing they can do cause it’s been over 30 days so now I’m at $130 and no WiFi pod. What a joke. Go with Verizon home internet

It seems like a lot of these reviews are reviews for Cox overall, like problems with connectivity, or pricing, or whatever. I guess that sort of makes sense since there isn't really a great way to voice your displeasure dealing with a monopolistic cable company.

My five-star review is a review of the helpfulness of the people at this particular RSM location for resolving my internet issues. I've been in to this location two times over the past two years to get help with connectivity issues with high-speed internet. The employees at this location have always been helpful in resolving these problems, and YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU CALL THE TECH SUPPORT CALL CENTERS THINKING THEY WILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. The best way to resolve your problem is to go in to one of these locations and speak with someone who actually knows what they're talking about and can get you headed in the right direction immediately.

The Cox call center tech support is worthless. Get off your ass and walk into a physical Cox location and get your problem resolved.

We walked in and got stared at and then waited 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Awesome experience would come again if i had nothing to do and had time to waste. Also the dude on the computer was responding to whatsapp messages so that was awesome.

Do NOT go to this store. Their reps are rude and unhelpful. Abe Mallick was out right disrespectful, condescending and rude. I honestly wish I could give a worse review than 1 star. The fact that the company represents itself with individuals like Abe shows why they have such poor reviews.

Cox service has been poor and they have throttled my internet speed to an average of 25 / sec. The final nail in the coffin was when they transferred my cox email account to Yahoo without providing a transfer date, which effectively prevents me from accessing my own email. I have no interest in Yahoo email service and apparently no options to access it, sine cox said that they are not willing to provide me access to transfer my email.
I am now a very pleased T-Mobile high-speed wifi internet customer at half the cost of cox.

I pay for the fastest possible Cox internet and my internet is still slow and video conferencing shows "unstable". This happens across devices and restarting the modem/router gateway doesn't do anything. It's unfortunate our country allows internet providers like Cox to have a monopoly. I'm considering cancelling altogether and just using my tmobile hotspot since it's cheaper and provides better / more consistent connection. Better internet alternatives like Starlink and Google fiber can't come to OC fast enough...

Don't support the corrupt and dirty COX businesses. They duped us too along with all of these poor other folks here. One of the sales reps here lied to me and told me the service was canceled to find out a week later, he never did cancel it. I verbally confirmed with him of the cancelation, which I've learned from these guys never to do. These people are as low as they get, self serving, unkind, evil people. Stay away from Cox. Their business practices have been shady since the early 90s. I've never heard anything good about this business. Not sure how they're even still in business...
