Beware. Safety at Risk!!!
Roof replacement took in for replacement took just under 6 mos. to get back. Shop manager placed my rv behind a job booked after mine, in his words "because he was waiting on Geico insurance check to start my rv job". I also purchased from etrailer and supplied to Dc's a Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers - Tandem 7K Trailer Axles and had DC's install. Installation instructions, I mentioned to the manager, that hardware threads should be coated with 'locktite Red' upon installation. Just returned from Coeur d' Alene ID, spending 5 mos.
as seasonal worker in an Rv Park, Arriving in Fallon Nv, on Sunday 9.29.24 at 2:45pm the rear tandem axle was only held on by 1 ubolt on the left and 1 ubolt with 1 nut on the right.. just the grace of God that tragedy did not occur. Spoke to C B and R Tire Pros and they were able to bail us out, coming over to Dollar Tree parking lot. They had 4 ubolts machined, attached, using red locktite to secure the nuts, checked our front tandem axle (loose ubolts too) secured them too with locktite, fished brake wires severed by moving ubolts, reconnected wiring and 20 hours after stopping, back on the road to home. Experience with manager of DC's RV repair big fail, my attempt at email to Don (owner) resulted in phone call from manager. Don I've seen you respond to these reviews in the past and hope you realize the tragedy averted simply by grace and take steps to ensure the safety of your employees work. No lock tite when install instructions clearly stated and I asked your staff to use is at minimum unethical and a moral issue...Feel free to phone, text personally but do not have the manager contact me. (Last time he "invited me to shop to discuss like men-
Threat implied)

They wished they could help, but we're afraid it could take up to a week for the part I needed fixed. They referred me to a couple other companies that could possibly have the part on hand and get me on the road in a couple hours. One just went to a garbled VM, but the other was actually able to get me on the road again.

I appreciate the honesty and assistance of this business. It definitely helped reduce my time searching for a place that could do the work I needed done!

Had a blowout on my toy hauler, which caused some damage. Called DC:s they took my trailer right in and did a awesome job.. Steve was especially helpful answered all my questions, kept me informed of any changes and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Everyone there was so helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend.

I did NOT want to write this review but we feel we now have no choice. We have contacted this shop numerous times but issues still not resolved. We worked with Steve and he was very nice and tried to be helpful but things are still going on. They were suppose to grease the sliders, treat the seals of our RV but it was never done. We paid them at least $13,000.00 and we still have problems. We tried to talk with the owner but Steve said he would take care of things. We could never get a hold of Don. I will NOT go into all the problems we are faced with and right now we are heartbroken.

Steve and Don are very nice people but the quality of work is a nightmare. We are an hour away now and the thought of having to go through all these issues breaks my heart. We paid a lot of money but there are still issues that are not okay. It’s wrong on every single level. We aren’t the experts so we don’t understand a lot of what was going on their end. We are incredibly sad and disappointed with our experience with this shop. Overall the quality of the service we received was not good. We trusted them and that was a mistake. Right now if I could I would give a -1 or more review.

Today is April 15th and this is an updated review. My husband and I were contacted by Don to discuss the issues from my original review. Our 5th wheel is now at DC RV and the issues are being addressed and worked on. I have changed my review from a 1 to a 5.0

Don seems to be very determined to help solve the issues we are having and I am trusting him to follow through.

We had some damage on our trailer caused from a tire blow out, our insurance recommended DC's. They used a different type of material to repair damage than what was originally there, so my trailer now has mismatching material. Wouldn't have been so bad, but they didn't even match the paint, so I also have different shades of paint on my 2018 trailer. They removed a plastic piece between the slide and wheel-well when they were working on it, put it back on with a crack in it and now it sticks out and looks sloppy. Our front window on the trailer was cracked while it was in their "care", they refuse to take responsibility for it even though insurance even has pictures of the window without a crack immediately before repairs were done. Don explained it couldn't have been their fault as they don't move trailers around with fork lifts...the funny thing is 1. my husband never even mentioned the use of a fork lift and 2. he actually saw them move it twice with a fork lift. Perhaps they put the trailer down too hard and it broke the window, we'll never know for sure. Don said they would repaint and replace the cracked plastic...that was the beginning of November, we haven't heard another word since. Safe to say by now, that we've been blown off. Total bummer considering we were thrilled to have an RV repair business right here in town. I was weary to write a bad review as I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt to make things right, but it's been long enough now that it's obvious they don't plan on doing anything. So disappointing, we take pride in our things we work hard for, our trailer went in for repairs only to come out with more damage.

Go up
