I came in to this store and had probably the most exceptional experience I have ever had in any general store in my life. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. They helped me find the tools and parts needed for my project. Everything is very thoughtfully laid out and easy to find. I was even able to pick up a gift for my lovely wife. Thank you for a great experience I look forward to my next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a chainsaw from JoniLynn at DIY SLT, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, JoniLynn greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and an impressive knowledge of the products. What stood out most was their ability to truly listen to my needs. I wasn’t entirely sure which chainsaw would be best for my specific tasks, but JoniLynn took the time to ask insightful questions and provided several options, explaining the pros and cons of each in a way that was easy to understand. Their expertise was evident, but what I appreciated even more was their patience—never once did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision. The chainsaw I ended up purchasing has been perfect for the jobs I needed it for, and I owe that to JoniLynn’s recommendation. They made sure I left the store not only with the right product but with the confidence to use it safely and effectively. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like JoniLynn did, and it made my entire shopping experience both enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend JoniLynn to anyone in need of expert advice and outstanding customer service. They’ve earned my business for life!

Pretty sad I could be there at 7:55, and y'all can't even actually open it. 8:00 a.m.. I get this whole Tahoe time but holy crap. Someone trying to get up and get their morning started early. Can't even happen in this town

Sometimes a guy can find great deals on tools, lumber, anything yah need for that repair from the drunk dude who "Accidentally" said he was holding the wall up cause it was falling down!!! Hahhh good times Little Timmy, a little less of grandpa's sasparilla and then the walls won't be fallin over. Hit up your neighborhood DIY and see what kind of projects you can conjour up during these times of peril, and while your at it cross off some of those items on thee ol' honey do list thats been collecting dust. GIT ER DONE

I went into DIY to look for some chain saw parts. I was greeted promptly by jonilynn, she assisted me, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, local, and even knew about chain saws! This place is great! I’ll be back, jonilynn was the best!

My go-to store for home maintenance projects. Friendly staff and even contractor/military discounts are offered.
