I’ve been a customer of Eva’s for over 18 years. I used to bring my two youngest children for lessons and have learned so much myself. I’ve gone from very beginner to intermediate with the help and encouragement of Eva and her wonderful staff. The other customers are always there to lend a positive word as well.
Eva has beautiful yarn in every price range. I can always find exactly what I need and am so grateful to have this store close by.

After not knitting for decades, I ventured into Eva’s and could not believe the walls filled with the most gorgeous yarns. The very helpful and encouraging staff helped me walk out that day with beautiful yarn, find the right pattern over days and refresh my “skills”. You can drop by anytime for guidance or just sit at the large front table and join the conversation. This is the real deal knit shop and there’s nothing else like it for miles and miles in either direction (by the way, they have other needle crafts too).

Just got home from shopping at Eva's. I purchased elegant gold glimmer Stella silk yarn by S. Charles and Noro yarn . Eva, the owner of Eva's, is a knitting wizard and will guide u as needed. If u run into a problem with your knitting go back to Eva as she will help you correct or solve your knitting problem. caron

Been here several times. Always friendly and knowledgeable service and excellent yarn selection. I think this is the last brick and mortar specialty yarn in the San Fernando valley. I love this shop. If you want good quality yarn at reasonable prices you should really check it out. They also have cool buttons and miscellaneous accessories. Eva makes beautiful clothing which she displays as inspiration and also for sale. I cannot say enough good things about the place.

I just went to Eva's Needlework on Tuesday. I walked in and said, "Hello"! No Igreeting from anyone. The owner was standing behind the counter and at least 6 women were sitting at the table knitting. Not one person could be bothered to say hello. Do you want to sell yarn I went home and made another online yarn purchase. I could have spent that $100 in your store!

Great place to have local. In recent years the store has become better organized and supplies a wide variety in brands, weights, and fiber content. Most brands carried are the been-around-forever brands like Berroco, Debbie Bliss, Cascade... You find the trendy independent spinnery's stuff here.
The business-woman running the place always seems appreciative of a sale to me, and I'm an infrequent shopper (and knitter). Maybe its that I like the finer yarns she carries (where she makes $80 for 10 minutes of her time), or maybe she's just appreciative toward everyone. Either way, its a pleasant experience for me. I wish there were more masculine specific color choices, like hunter orange, camo green and brown, etc. Most nicer fibers like cashmere you'll never find dyed this way, so I don't fault her. She carries a large colorway selection in the sturdy tried and true brands. That's just not my kind of yarn for the things I make for myself. I'm a guy, but I still love my cashmere 😁.
