Hello! I decided to write this review because I noticed something that was bothering me about this location. First off, I would like to clarify that this has nothing to do with the employees. Axel was very polite and does his job well.
The problem is with the prices here. One issue I will not tolerate is businesses taking advantage of things their customers might not know. For example, at a second hand store, you know that you are getting used goods, and are expecting the prices to fairly depict the quality of the items. However, at this location specifically I have found far too many items that are being up-sold (which is unacceptable being that goodwill gets their merchandise for free) far beyond their value. For example, used bras for $8, trashed shoes that are filthy going for $25, most dresses (regardless of condition) going for around $10-12 average, and several tank tops (not name brand and with obvious wear signs, going for $7.
The one that bothered me most was pair of forever 21 (fast fashion bad quality) overalls being sold for $25 used, around the same price you would get them brand new at the store.
If you compare these prices to the ones that are generally regulated at other goodwills, there is a very large pricing gap.
Being that thrift shops are generally intended for lower income families and individuals, upselling donated goods is not only dishonest, but genuinely in bad taste.
I am providing photos of items tha fall into this category, and there are many more I didn't photograph.

Don't get cheated folks. Especially if you aren't made of money like most of us.

Things are a little pricey for used items. Came with my mom who was looking for games for her classroom. There were some that had a white tag and we're half off. She got checkers, puzzles and other games for about $2-5. I thought the clothes was expensive though. Got my nephew a Spiderman costume for $10.

Some associates lovely! Priced higher than most, maybe because on Ventura Blvd? Associate manager with very short, blonde hair has been rude to me and others I observed. I avoid her completely. Still, quite the bargain.

I used to love this place, you can find nice things, but the manager (young brunette with a ponytail) has been rude to be on several occasions. I work in customer service myself and can forgive a lot of things, but when I went back today after avoiding this store for months, she pulled a rack to the back room from the middle of the store as I very clearly was there browsing it. No acknowledgement, no apology - just kept it moving. This isn’t the first or second or third time she’s done something like this. I’m not one to make a scene. I just left and won’t be back. I understand we’re not at Nordstrom’s but treating your customers as if they’re a nuisance? Wow. My other favorite was gossiping about former management and current workers while ringing me up. Classy.

Overall I do like this location. The staff is nice and pretty helpful. I can usually find something I like. The prices can be a bit steep but I still do enjoy this location. The parking is pretty good too.

Did not buy anything! Everything is so expensive and the articles that I chose had stains on them. I explained to the manager but she was in denial. Used items do not have to be so close in price to new items. I went next door to Ross, bought a new designer back pack for $20 ( Goodwill was asking $15, used and stained)Never going there again
