Great thrift store, very nice staff, and they occasionally do 1/2 priced days which is wonderful! They also take card payments which makes it very easy to shop here.

I would give it 5 starts but as fr A the thrift store side of things go, it's pretty pricey. They rarely have sales on clothes. But they always have some REALLY great finds if you take the time to look. The staff has been half and half with me as for being friendly or nice or helpful. It is a toss up every time I go in there. They are either completely uninterested in helping or speaking to me in any way shape or form. OR the polar opposite. Very friendly, welcoming, helpful and kind. I suppose such is the same either most places here in Tehachapi. When you don't fit the mold of what it is they think you should look like or what's acceptable it's less than welcoming. But I'm good with that. I still like this place and will eventually run them over. With an abundance of kindness and light. It works. Eventually. The animals part! That's amazing! They are always doing so they can to help. I love that. It is hard though. Every time not to walk out with a kitten. Cute little **'&$#

I’ve been familiar with this wonderful place for 7 years since I’ve been in Tehachapi and now they have an even bigger and more convenient location. The spay and neuter part of their business is SO NEEDED in our community and that is doing a great service to our town. I always try to drop off quality goods that they can sell. On the other hand, I am always pleased with the great amount of items they have for sale that I have purchased for my own household use and for friends in need.

Hey Everyone, Disclaimer

I adopted a wonderful kitten from this place. Sadly, I’d like to give this a bad review. I would give it a negative star rating if I could. They made us pay for a deposit and services where they said they would schedule and take kittens to get spayed in Bakersfield. I paid them to take my kitten to get spayed and bring her back safely, but they lost my kitten. This was due to their negligence, and unprofessionalism. Heartbroken and frantic about finding my kitten who is only 14 weeks… they offered me empty apologies and blamed me instead. I called them up to see why I hadn’t received notification about when to pick her up. They told me, they lost her and that they’re going to set cat food out in the car and hope she comes out. They were going to leave and close up shop without even letting me search for her in the vehicle she was transported and allegedly hiding in. When I sped down there, they pulled out of the parking lot and we had to stand in their way, just to stop their vehicles. The lady responsible for transporting them even told me she did NOT check the carrier to see if she was in there before she left the Vet. Tell me, how do you work or volunteer for a place of animal care if you don’t care about the emotional trauma you caused on families when you made a mistake? They also said, they could give me a full refund and I said, “money is not going to make me feel better.” They proceeded to ask “we’ll just how much will it take?”

Great thrift store with some unique items at times. I go there first to look for items for my dogs. Great organization that does so much to help animals. They offer a low cost spay and neuter program. I plan on getting my French Bulldog spayed thru them soon. Adopt before you shop, check your local rescues such as Have A Heart.

I am sad to report that the employees of this animal rescue are unprofessional and callous. When we requested what time my kitten would be spayed because I had a chemotherapy appointment out of town, they refused to provide my husband with a straight answer. They also stated that my kitten would be safe if the spay was performed while she was in “heat.” I have now contacted a few vets who all have recommended waiting because of the additional dangers associated with performing surgery while an animal is in season. I did not feel secure in leaving my kitten at this rescue, especially with allegations that they have misplaced other pets.

Good thrift store but on occasion the employees are a bit rude and disrespectful. I recommend it if your intent is to buy all types of stuff from shoes, all the way to backpacks, purses, wallets, toys, and much more.

Great, clean and good location. Their items are well maintained and smell good. I always find beautiful chic dresses. I recommend that store. I like their prices. Keep it up.
