Our Christmas tree experience! Everyone was nice especially for Sam who helped us pick the best tree and he even cut the bottom. Bless his heart he did it with a hand saw in this cold!! Hats off to whoever raised this kid, you did very good. Very sweet and very respectful!!

My husband and I finally dropped into the new Hills Ace Hardware this morning. We were greeted with hello’s and great big smiles! The store has everything you need, and then some. As always, multiple employees asked if we needed help. And when we checked out, the cashier thanked us with such genuine gratitude. I’ve said it for years now; Hills has the best employees. It’s a place where helping you - the customer- isn’t a hassle. Now with a beautiful new building and ample parking, these folks have outdone themselves! Thank you!

The ACE in Winder Ga. has the most helpful and courteous staff. I choose ACE over Home Depot because of the staff and how knowledgeable and helpful they are every time I visit this location. The new store is amazing as well. Always spotless and very well stocked. It has more of the small town family run business mom and pop vibe going on and I love that. It's a great place to shop.

So being in retail I normally will not leave a bad review , today I will. My daughter went in to get a 50lb bucket of chlorine. It doesn’t fit in the small carts so she carries it to the cash register stopping to give her hand a break. Gets to the cash register and asks the young man, Matthew, if she needs to lift it up. Kinda expecting him to either walk around and scan or help get it lifted. No, he didn’t do that. Just said yes. Doesn’t offer help to get it to the car either. In the past they did. This is what you shouldn’t do. You should be helping your customers. Maybe more training is needed.

I absolutely love going into hills, I'm excited for the new store to open. But another reason I like hills is because, Jennifer! She is my favorite employee that works there, anytime I go in looking for something or have a problem to figure out she always goes above and beyond to help me. Even if she is in the middle of doing something else she will stop, and help. Very sweet, professional and smart! She can help in any department keys, locks, wood, electrical things, flowers! She helped me pick out flowers for my yard and it turned out better then what I had imagine. She is one of the top employees they need to keep and keep happy! Thank you Jennifer for all your help ! I appreciate you more then you know!!!

Excellent spot for gas log sets this winter. Michael helped me find what I was looking for and worked very hard at finding us the best deal. He was highly knowledgeable about the products and very diligent in his efforts to accommodate our request.
