They often have some really great people, but not for long. Turnover is horrible. They cannot seem to keep anyone.
And, for the umpteenth time - I travel, often for extended periods. Each time I have called and told them that I need my prescriptions filled early, because I will be traveling.
I give a clear explanation to the person who answers, but I never get them filled. And I never get a call. So, every time, I have to go back. Very frustrating.

Not very fast on prescription fills.

In store needs are fine, trying to get a prescription filled is impossible. The past two months I have gone to get an important prescription filled, and I'll I hear is, "we're still waiting on the doctors approval". I finally called the doctor (I know, I could have called sooner). They said they have not tried to contact them during this entire duration. ? This isn't the first time I've had this same problem.

IF I could give less than a star since Barry Shapiro retired and sold this business I would. Actually it had been quite a pleasant staff until current 'manager-pharmacist' took over. As someone has alluded to (in ignoring California law) the current 'manager' is hated by most, I have never heard this much negative feedback about a business manager (or owner) ever. He clearly loathes his job, life etc...and feels compelled to share his negativity with everyone who does not walk away, I no longer use this store for anything, I prefer Hemet and that says a lot.

Great service. I needed one thing in particular and couldn’t find it. Pharmacist came out showed me two products that would work and explained the pros and cons of each. Cashier is very friendly.

Excellent! The pharmacy has a great staff, refills are quick and easy. The store has a good stock for a small town and i can get the things I need, printer paper, envelopes, markers, etc., etc. Also wonderful holiday cards.

This pharmacy feels the need to go above California laws for their own personal reasons. To decide that California voters and officials have not made a choice that is correct and feel a need to deny medical supplies that is legal for anyone over the age of 18 to purchase out of nothing more than their own personal feelings is wrong. You should be ashamed of yourselfs and I will go out of my way to inform anyone and everyone that this pharmacy decides whom deserves legal medical supplies on their own judgments and not laws.

The staff is very friendly at this Pharmacy and the pharmacist Barry Shapiro is not only my personal pharmacist but a friend, and being the only Pharmacy in Idyllwild I highly recommend this Pharmacy to others they have a wide variety of snacks and all sorts of Health items such as vitamins cold medicines diabetes supplies sugar-free treats. They also have greeting cards school supplies and a short man so it's Sharpie markers pencils in the rear of the store
