Discriminatory and Unacceptable Experience at Inland Jewelry & Loan Pawn Shop.

I had a shocking and disappointing experience at Inland Jewelry & Loan Pawn Shop in Upland, California. Despite arriving just five minutes before closing with $2000 to spend on a gold chain for my son, the attendant made a racial comment and discriminated against me because of my skin color.

While a white woman standing nearby was not rushed or pressured, I was given a one-minute ultimatum to make a decision. This is not customer service; it's discriminatory and unacceptable.

I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. It’s sad how one guy can ruin something for the whole company, The guy’s behavior was unprofessional, and his actions left a sour taste. Businesses should treat all customers with respect and dignity, regardless of their background.

I am adding a picture of the guy that you don’t want to deal with if you go there, just in case this review is not believed.

Went in sell items that I’ve acquired in the process of buying auctioned storage units. I am always on the lookout to partner with vendors of all kinds to buy sell , trade and give away items. I have so much stuff right now I’m giving things away or at a low price so long we can move in volumn. So I came out to this pawn shop right off the bat when I walked the vibe from the guy behind the counter was rude, said none of the jewelry was real just by glancing at it and the gold and pearl earring I know are real he offered me $25 for when they can easily be sold for $100 and said he cant offer much more then face value for a 1928 Gold $10 Note in a protected sleeve. He then proceeds to grab a bottle of fabreez and spray it in my partner and my general direction. I packed up my things and said it’s all good you don’t want to do business, he said have a nice day and I left. I’ll take my business to a place that is serious and professional as I planned to send a lot of stuff to sell and give away but only to reputable and well established re-sellers. Plus all the people I come across that are looking for a good re-seller, I won’t be sending them your way either I wouldn’t want my reputation associated with such a second-rate business. The offer and treatment today was insulting and deplorable. I hope you all have a nice day!

These guys are weirdos. Not welcoming at all what so ever when entering then ask if u need anything but then don't answer when I ask. They all look miserable or unhappy. Ashame I have them my business this long. Last time and I saw no one spend any money. Crazy 🤣

My husbands family has been shopping here his whole life. Took a bass to pawn brand new and they offered me 5$ and the “guitar tech” told me basically it’s not a “real” bass…. It’s was a squire mustang which is made by fender. But k. So I begin to leave and the tool continues to run his mouth which lead me to find out the “GUITARTECH” played bass in middle school and hasn’t played since. Totally someone that knows about instruments huh….. get a better employee guys. Love your shop I’ve sold many things and bought even more, but this is making me consider taking business elsewhere and in turn leave this review. You need EDUCATED people to be looking a hundred + $$$$ items not someone who knows guitar because they played a bass in middle school…. Also your squire jazz master in the shop is on sale for 399.99 y’all save your efforts and money and just go to guitar center for the same one brand new for the same price with a 30 day money back…. And optional insurance. Don’t feed the pockets of this idiot.

Great pawn shop! Loaned plenty of items. Even came back months after date was passed and they still gave it back. Great guys just gotta understand their side. BE REALISTIC.
