We stopped in after eating at the Iron Door Saloon across the street. They have a good selection of Iron Door souvenirs, and a mish-mash of other items: clothing, accessories, minerals, decorations, pretty boxes, jewelry, etc. It's a bit on the feminine side. I've definitely been in more compelling shops, but we found a nice scarf and some postcards. Worth a peek while you digest.

Groveland is a cute little town on the way to Yosemite. Stopped to park here to get our cabin key next door, planned on getting out to stretch our legs. So sad to be met by a very grumpy man who maybe owned the place? There were about 8 spots in all, 6 vacant including us. He very rudely said we can only park if we were gonna shop at his store. The way he treated us in front of our children sealed the deal. We would have loved to pop in & shop had we been invited to do so.
