My husband and I went in to Jared to have a couple of links taken out of a my bracelet. Julia was assisting us and suggested repurposing the links into earrings, which I never would have thought of doing. Once we decided on the earring material and closure, Don, who is the jewelry specialist, explained the process. Don did a wonderful job as both the bracelet and new set of earnings are perfect. Both Julia and Don were a joy to work with and we will definitely be returning for future purchases, repairs and creations!

I recently had one of the worst retail experiences of my life at Jared Jewelers. What should have been a simple purchase—buying a watch and getting it fitted—turned into a frustrating, drawn-out ordeal that lasted over two hours. From the start, the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in actually helping. It took forever just to get someone to assist with selecting the watch, despite the store not being particularly busy. Once I finally made my purchase, the nightmare really began. The fitting process was beyond inefficient. Employees disappeared for long stretches, made multiple mistakes adjusting the links, and acted like they had never sized a watch before. What should have been a straightforward process was made unbearable by poor customer service and a complete lack of urgency. No one offered updates or an apology for the absurd wait time. By the time I finally left, I was more relieved than excited about my purchase. I ended up returning the $3000 dollar watch. If you’re thinking about shopping at Jared, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have used this store on a few occasions for different reasons. Jessica, who helped us recently, made my custom purchase simple and easy. Jessica was even able to locate a deal I was unaware of and saved me hundreds of dollars. The work that the jeweler has completed for me each time has been flawless. I visited about 10 other stores in Reno and this one has had the best service, repair work, price and selection including custom orders. I absolutely love this store and highly recommend it to anyone.

I had a diamond bracelet repaired. Holly noticed that it wasn't sufficiently cleaned and asked if I could wait, which I did. She offered me water or coffee and indicated where I could relax as I waited. It was not long at all. She provided a small case for me in which to take it home. She was very pleasant and professional. She was not at all pushy. I will definitely seek her out for my next purchase.

Brought in a bracelet I bought online for my wife to have the clasp replaced and needed it by a specific time. When I showed up to pick it up it had not even been started. Well. We had less than an hour before our dinner reservation and Jared’s really stepped up. The manager calmly made it happen and in less than 45 minutes the bracelet was done and we were on our way to dinner. Huge shout out to Don the repair guy and everyone who went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I had an awesome anniversary. Major recommendation, and a new repeat customer.

Don, the jeweler who added two diamonds to my bracelet did a perfect job matching the other diamonds. It's a beautiful work of art! I'm extremely pleased and highly recommend his finely detailed work.

I recently had a custom anniversary ring designed with the wonderful help of Jessica and Ericka. They were both phenomenal throughout the entire process and kept me in the loop with each step of the way. Jessica helped digitally design and 3D print a replica of the ring which made the approval process much easier. The final ring came out absolutely PERFECT!!! We could not be happier with our overall experience with this store, and especially Jessica and Ericka!
