I’ve been beaded before by another artist and there was a significant difference in my bead experience with Jazhari. Jazhari opened up the salon on her day off to accommodate my schedule and spent several hours with me to ensure that my bead selection was comprehensive and coherent. Originally, I visited Jazhari with my mind set on getting a neutral palette of beads. However, she challenged my thinking with her vast array of options and suggestions. I’m glad she did. I also appreciated the time she spent on orienting me to the salon and the origin of my beads. Very educational! I am using the beads for weight management and I will certainly be back as I ‘outgrow’ my current set of beads.

Omg. The owner is so nice and her vibe makes me feel like we’ve been friends forever. The waist beads strands were absolutely beautiful and rare which in my book makes the whole experience even better. I love rare items. Jewelry, clothes, whatever. I was so embarrassed in her warmth and friendliness. And the private appointment was just so that I could soak it all in, another A+. She resized some waist beads that I already had but I definitely plan on buying a few more from her. Well done my friend, well done. I’m definitely a customer for life! 100 stars from me all the way!

If you've ever considered getting African Waist Beads, the ONLY place to go in the Bay area to get "waisted" is JAZHARI AFRICAN WAIST BEADS. I was:
1. IN AWE of the vast selection, the colors, the way the light reflected off of glass, crystal, and gemstone beads, and Jazz' vast knowledge of bead styles and origin;
2. TOUCHED by the way I was treated at every stage of the process: looking at beads, selecting and setting aside whatever Spirit and the Ancestors led me to, switching up my choices, changing my mind a 2nd, 3rd, and a 4th time, before making my ultimate choices; and finally
3. SHAKEN to my core when my beads were being put into place. Jazz was respectful of my body, with a light, tender touch.
