The employee in this store was incredibly rude! She told me to leave with food, which I completely understood. I ate outside while my husband and 16 year old son looked around. They left by the time I came in and as I was looking around she said in a rude voice "Let me know if you would like help BUYING anything". It was so rude and was not feeling welcome at all so I left. I then met up with my husband and son and without telling them what happened my husband told me how the lady kept telling my son to stop touching things and a minute later asked my husband if they were together, implying he should be watching him. My son is very sweet and respectful and loves rocks and fossils, but we definetly won't be going back here.

Very rude employee. I went in with my family and was about to start looking at the crystals; the woman approached me and my cousin (of the five of us) and told us we need to have parents to shop. I am an adult. I saw a stone ring that I was considering purchasing despite it being incredibly overpriced. Same lady approached me again and said pictures aren’t allowed. I apologized and said I would delete the photo. She replied that, “It’s not about deleting it, it’s about the radiation or chemicals from the camera compromising the fossils.” Funny, considering there’s a bench in the store with a label “for family photos” which is actually CLOSER to said fossils. You can see photos of this bench in other reviews. Won’t be going back. Nearly ruined our trip. We only went up to Arrowhead for this particular store.

Oh my goodness what an amazing experience. The owner of the store is so helpful, intelligent, and knowledgeable about her products. I had many questions about a variety of things all over the store and she was able to educate me and help me find what I wanted without being condescending or rude. All of these reviews saying she's rude.... I can tell you're tourists. Probably from the valley. The sense of entitlement these people have is LUDICROUS.

Which brings me to my experience today. Owner? Brilliant. I'll come back when I have the money to buy what I really want. The patrons? Jesus Christ.... First of all, the front door says "do not touch anything, no photography, please ask for assistance." Then you get inside and there are clear, black and white labels, on EVERYTHING, saying "DO NOT TOUCH!! ASK FOR ASSISTANCE!!!" Just as clear to understand as the crystals they sell.

There's a display, elevated beyond any child's reach, that says again "DO NOT TOUCH!! SERIOUSLY, THIS IS DEADLY!" And what would you know? Some entitled woman and her snotty kid touched it. I think the dad was holding the kid up and allowed him to touch it. The owner informed him to stop and that could kill, which is when they blew up on her!! They said "he's 5 he can't read!" I'm sorry, but what 5 year old can't understand no? You're the parent, it's your job to read. Anyways they blew up on her and she was still smiling and polite despite them literally insulting her and her business. She asked them to leave, very kindly, and to even have a good day. The spoiled brat of a mother told her "I'm gonna leave a bad review!!" And then again insulted her. I laughed and right as I was about to intervene, the couple left.

Excuse you!! She does not get paid enough to deal with you. She does not get paid enough to be held liable for YOU not reading the signs. They're the same kind of people who argue with the towing guy saying "I didn't see the sign you need to move it!!" When it's right in front of them.

Oh and BTW, I've included a picture of what the kid touched. Tell me that's not CRYSTAL CLEAR?! Another patron was able to take this picture after getting permission from the owner.

I hope those people come to write their "bad review" and see this. You should be embarrassed because the rest of us had a full conversation about it after you left!!

Cool shop with artifacts from all over the world. They have their own paleontologist, Kelly and Robert, who travel to get rights for their items. Elena is pretty chill and will let you know all about what they have.

One of the few interesting stores in the mall. Our kids were in awe with the fossils, stones, statues and jewelry. Great place to buy a unique souvenir of your trip to Lake Arrowhead. It has two great picture spots. One is the inside bench and the other is down the steps where they have a triceratops fossil.

I was really excited to be in this store. I had a family of 10 purchasing products from here. As I got done checking out, right as my card was approved my cousin came and told me my daughter was crying because of the blonde front desk lady. I asked why? She said my girl broke a ring and had to pay for it. There are several signs saying do not touch so I said no problem how much do I owe you? She said they settled it for 5 bucks and I said fair enough. I was under the impression she handled this with my husband and the right thing was done. My cousin was FURIOUS, my daughter was in TEARS and I got the chance to find out that not only did the desk lady NOT COME TO ANYONE IN OUR FAMILY to settle this but my daughter said " Ionly have 5 dollars I'm sorry"
She SNATCHED it from my girls hand and lord I do not know exactly what she said because I was not there but the hurt was pretty bad and my daughter is pretty tough. I had no problem paying for the ring but how dare she not let SOMEONE know (we had 6 adults!!) I am so appalled of how my girl was treated. There was no need for that as we are completely okay admitting fault and making it right. I cannot believe she let me buy her stuff and not say a word to me. Shame on you for bullying little kids. Unbelievable.
