Very nice shop. I stopped in for a bunch of random stuff and the people working there were very helpful and friendly. Definitely a cool shop, they have stuff for beginners to advanced players (mostly on the guitar-side, but they did have a variety of different instruments).

I will miss this store.... We are moving far away. I love how they support the smallest needs with kindness. Music books, recorder and a special order of sheet music- could have downloaded it, but nostalgia said get the sheet music. They helped with my silly request for Christmas last year. Going back this week, before we move!

I'm writing specifically about two visits to Main Street Music. I was hoping to start a new "quarantine hobby" and finally get a keyboard so I could (re)learn how to play. My first visit was before I got my stimulus check, so I was just doing some research. The gentleman who assisted me at that time was extremely helpful. It didn't seem to matter that he knew he wasn't going to get a sale that day -- he spent time with me to find out what I wanted to do, what I already knew, and then explain what options they had that would fit well with where I was starting from.

The second visit was after I received my stimulus check to pick up a Yamaha P45B. The person who took care of me this time, was just as helpful. He explained the functions on the keyboard, and he had some helpful suggestions on what else I might need to get my new adventure started, without any oversell or pressure. He even helped by carrying my keyboard out to my car, since my hands were full with a stand and other purchases.

Part of why I went to Main Street Music was that I wanted to support a local business in these times of ours. Amazon gets enough business, they don't need any money from me. AFTER I bought my keyboard, though, I *did* have to have a look. Turns out I would not have saved a dime if I had bought it from them -- and the other items I bought would have cost me even more than Main Street charged me.

So: great service, great prices, great people. And this is all our home town. Buying here was very much the right decision!

Dropped off my Bass for a setup and electronics work yesterday - both Ken and Jason the Repair Guy were SUPER nice! Ken has an *amazing* store, and is an old-school kind of guy - who clearly cares about his clients! Right on! Can't wait to see what they can do with my old bass - and looking fwd to seeing them both again. Great to still have a local Music Store!

Not very friendly. They wouldn't allow us to play the guitars unless we were planning on buying. Instead, the worker retrieved a marked up acoustic from behind the counter for us to play. Honestly, how do you know you actually want to buy a guitar if you don't get to try it first?

Limited options for guitars. Lots of Ibanez, Gretsch, and a few brands I've never heard of. No Fender or Squier. One Epiphone.

Honestly, stick to Guitar Center. You don't get treated like a convict and they actually let you play the guitars.

Well this people not are friendly whit special needs children’s. was my case they cancel the clases for my doughtier she was very sad and she don’t understand why was hard for us to explain her. no was professional and was mean owner I don’t recommend this place if you have special needs children or just found other place .
