My husband and I came to Maqbool clothing to find a thobe for my father and our nephew. We stopped by another Islamic clothing place first (because it was closer to home) and the options that were there made us feel slightly discouraged before coming to Maqbool. But Alhamdulilah we were beyond surprised and amazed! Br. Wahid was there and May Allah (SWT) bless him; he was so amazing!

The options and variety at this store are amazing. They have excellent quality pieces and different branded items of thobes and dresses.

We purchased a thobe for my father and nephew and everyone loved the colour and revelled over the quality. Alhamdulilah!

Today, my husband and I ventured into this gem of a store for a niqab and abaya. Initially drawn to the color of my chosen abaya, I later realized my heart was set on another style. Returning to exchange it was effortless, thanks to the owner's exceptional respect and kindness. This Muslim-owned shop offers an impressive range—from elegant chiffon to chic, new hijab styles. Beyond the great choices, the service was outstanding. Highly recommend supporting this brother's business for both quality and experience. Looking forward to my next visit, in sha Allah!

I drove over here from a few cities over and I'll just say that the travel was well worth it for what I wanted! The owner was incredibly hospitable, even giving me the best deal on my abayas out of the kindness of his heart and as a welcome to me as a newly reverted muslimah. I will come back in September once they bring back more new clothing in sha Allah, and whoever is reading this I hope you're able to do the same, or just come by sometime, because I highly recommend this islamic clothing store!!

I purchased some abaya today. Great quality and wonderful customer service. I will definitely return, the 2 hour drive is worth it. This store has a variety of items for men, women and children as well as accessories and home decor.

A very late review but the brother at Maqbool deserves a shining review. I bought a thobe for my husband and we lived quite far out from the shop. The brother at the shop helped us so much to find the right size, and we visited him twice in a week. Thank you so much!

The Owner is an elderly man who was kind and helped my friends and I pick out some thobes. He helped me find the perfect size thobe, and it was actually quality material! I am definitely coming back with friends to pick out some more. We even had a nice time chatting with the owner about his travels around the world.

Nice elderly man until you return an item that was damaged before purchase!!!
My 8 year old daughter chose her very first Quran from this store. It was open and the elderly (long beard) man let her look at the Arabic text to see if the letters were big enough for her to read. At the time of purchase we didn't check the Mushaf for any tears or damage which we should have done. A few hours later at home, my daughter wanted to read from this Quran and that's when we noticed the inside cover was coming off and the pages were loose at the bottom. Also there were finger stains at the outside top and bottom pages. I could not return it the same day so I gave the store a call and said I was returning it the next day. My 8 year old and I went to the store and I could see the man was not happy. He didn't let me explain and gave us a choice right away: either buy this Quran (one that he had ready for us) or get money back (he had $40 ready on his table). I said my daughter wanted to buy one. My daughter didn't get to choose so she checked the pages of the Quran that the man had ready for us and said to me that there are stains on top and some pages looked loose. That's when the man lost it! His face became red and he said to get our money and just leave! He said that he could show us 10 Quran and we would find something in each one! I was shocked and couldn't believe how a (muslim) man could treat a woman and a child this way! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to upset my kid. She was very disappointed because it would be her own first Quran!
We have a few Mushaf at home and have been using it daily. The pages and cover are fine and didn't fall apart.
Honestly, I could buy the same Quran for half price at Amazon, but I wanted to support our local Afghan Islamic store! What a shame for our elderly to have this kind of behavior! What a terrible example of an elderly for our kids.
Just make sure to check your item before purchasing!
