I can’t say enough great things about Matt’s Music and the owners, Matt and Lulu. My daughter has been taking piano lessons for years and adores Lulu and learns so much. We have purchased instrumented as well and so glad we did instead of some box store or Amazon. They inspect each instrument at sale and will catch if anything is off from shipping etc.

I dropped off a late 70’s early 80’s Yamaha acoustic guitar.. it had been placed in a chipboard case and forgotten for probably over 20+yrs..in an attic in Georgia. Matt was able to get the guitar’s action low enough to be playable and I very happy with the work that he did… Matt was very gent with answering my questions and explaining what he planned on doing to my Yamaha.. Thank you Matt.. This guitar was my Step Mom’s guitar who has since passed, it means a lot to me to be able to keep the guitar in the family and it’s usable.. God bless.

I rented an instrument from Music & Arts which was a pain to return and the end of the rental period. But the gentleman at the counter was able to help me figure it out. He was incredibly helpful and kind, and I really appreciate their assistance. I strongly recommend stopping by here for any music needs for the type of friendly, caring, small-town service you'd hope to find in Templeton.

Nice little place. Have gone in a few times for reeds and picks. Staff is really nice and helpful.

I will say that they advertise that they have music teachers who offer lessons there. And say to call for availability... don't waste your time. I called six times (in a month) to inquire about violin lessons and left messages each time, never heard back. Finally go in, and they say they don't offer lessons for her age, not a big deal, it just was an irritant to not have messages returned.
