Expensive, does not connect well to the probes. Supposed to be convenient, but since it doesn’t work unless you have both the box and the phone within 5 feet of the probe it’s not much help. Sits unconnected most of the time. You’re better off with an analog thermometer for a fraction of this things astronomical price. Do yourself a favor read the other reviews. Sitting right next to the probe and won’t connect.

Meater plus is a product you should run from. Nothing but issues. Bluetooth is a huge problem. Mine works maybe 2 out of 10 times. Burns through batteries like crazy. Responded to an email from the company about my experience and crickets. If I could give it a 0 stars I would.

I would give MEATER 0 stars if able. The support and service from this company is terrible. No phone calls allowed. No chat available. ONLY email that apparently is not in the US as they ONLY answer one email per day and very early in the morning. They must think they have a corner on the wireless meat probe business. I've been asking for a response now for over 4 days and no response. Recommend finding a competitive brand. I'm ditching MEATER.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. I ordered a Meater 2+ in November and paid for it. It's December 22, and after countless emails on their support page I got a message it was in Colorado waiting for me to pick it up and I live in Massachusetts. I asked if they are paying for my ticket to get it and all the expenses. This is after I requested a full refund and they avoid that question. Something is terribly wrong with these people. I recommend looking at other products. Seriously this is terrible.

Very bad customer service. You can only email them. Emails take a day or two to get a response. I've been asked for the same set of pictures 2x. They do not understand that I have a bad meater block and need it replaced under their "year warranty"

The worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. There is essentially no customer service. No way to resolve any issue. No people to talk to about a problem. Their Facebook page just refers you to their website customer support page. Their customer support page doesn't let you submit any support ticket. Emails to customer support are answered by bots (as someone else said)

They're only interested in selling a product and then never standing by it. If youve experienced this, please report it to the Consumer Protection agency in your state. I will be reporting it to mine.

I wish I had read Google reviews. Purchased this as a gift for my husband. He said he didn’t need it so trying to make a return...there’s no way to make a return...it says I need to email MEATER to wait for a response...waiting, waiting...it also says they are extremely busy so who knows when I’ll hear back from them-did some other research online & says when I do actually get some customer service I have to pay a 15% restocking fee + shipping-Is this the year 1960? I shop primarily online & with Amazon for their great customer service. Good companies always stand by their products...when a company (like MEATER) treat their customers in this fashion it says multitudes about how good their product is or in this case isn’t!

Bought a Meater+ probe less than a year ago. Last time I used it and pulled it out of my steak after cooking, it was suddenly dissolved and broken into pieces. The inner part of the probe got separated from the metal cover and the tip of the stick was lose. I was putting it carefully back together, but since it doesn’t work anymore. No connection and apparently not charging. I opened a support ticket more than two weeks ago and I am chasing their support since then. Only responses from their bots repeatedly requesting same things like they did on their web forms (proof of purchase, serial numbers bla bla incl. images or photos of same). There seems to be no other way to reach their support. I think they are hiding on purpose because they are probably swamped with customer requests due to low quality of products. I still like the idea and the concept of the Meater, but the product execution is of too low quality. The support experience is really bad. It simply sucks. I wouldn't purchase the product again and wouldn't recommend buying it either. Too flimsy and fragile, also not very accurate in temperature measurements.
