I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews as I've only had good experiences when shopping with Mid City. Knowledgeable and friendly staff with a fairly wide selection of inventory. If shopping local instead of online I try to use them and personally never had a issue.
This review is strictly pertaining to firearms, firearms accessories, and ammo.

I've bought guns and items it's a good place to shop only if you are dealing with Ray and Bob. Howard likes to complain about how things are more expensive online and how the prices in the store are too low and should've been more I didn't really see how that was my problem Howard most of the time has a negative vibe. Howard also showed me a revolver that they had purchased and gave me a approximate price from $550 to $650 or so then when i went to put it on layaway he told it would be $800 or more because it sold for $1000 or so on gunbroker. I wouldn't do business with Howard ever again if that how he does business

Awesome people! People you can trust, they know what they are talking about and give excellent advice!! Great prices on ammo and guns! Got a gold necklace at a good price as well.

Horrible customer service. The girl behind the counter Viv. Should be fired. Just so trashy & rude. I've never felt so much negative energy & fakeness from someone in my life. Very horrible experience dealing with her.

I have to say, I pawned some silver coins there, and they only pawned maybe 40% of the silver's value. JV's pawn shop by Redstone will give you 80%, but I think they had the afternoon off. I was looking around at the used items they were selling while they got my pawn ready, and was thinking 'I could probably buy this new online or even at Lowes for way less these people are crazy'. The staff was nice though and seemed knowledgeable. But I'm all about saving money, and if your selling it used, how are you going to charge way more than if it were new? That's crazy!

And by the way, they seem to only get 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. These 5 stars say things like 'the best diamonds in the world' ITS A PAWN SHOP not debears! Who talks like that? Did you get 5 bucks online for saying it or something? Always gotta ask that kind of a question when reading online reviews sadly. Literally.

I guess used is more expensive than new these days it looks like. Those old computers really know how to standardize pricing I guess.
