Nice location for another Ace store in Truckee. Although I am partial to the one on Donner Pass Road due to it being closer to my home, this location also has a good selection of home goods and a lot of DIY stuff. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Stopped in while visiting family in the area. Not a typical hardware store. Lots of items everywhere you look. Outdoor, decor, fishing, sporting goods, shoes and clothes, camping along with all your typical hardware store items. Staff was helpful. Not a overly large store but a ton of stuff stuffed in there.

Usually pretty helpful but they sold a product out from under me after they said they would hold it. I dug myself out of snow for two hours to get here just to find out they had just sold it. 🤷

We’re so fortunate to be a small business with this amazing crew across the way. Dave and co always help us in a pinch. Door handles, leaky faucets, first aid kits. We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you thank you from all of us at RAKKAN.

Absolutely LOVE this new location. It's really convenient to have another hardware store on this side of town & everyone is helpful and nice. I run a business that is close to this new location and it's great to be able to run over to quickly grab what we need. Glad to support this amazing / local business!

I love mountain hardware but they opened this new store WAY too fast. I am a local business owner who spends 20-40k a year with them and I have wasted multiple trips to this location only to find uneducated employees and underwhelming selection. The paint counter has one great employee, but when he isn't there they can't even make a simple can of stain with a stock color. Don't waste your time, just drive to the donner pass store.
