My first interaction with them was a 5 star review. I had electrical issues with my trailer batteries and needed an inverter. My wife and I dealt with an older gentleman who was very helpful and informative. I came back later and purchased 2 batteries. He invited me to park off the road by his sign that said no parking. The next day, I went back to purchase the inverter. A guy in his late 30s/early 40s was at the desk. I ask if it was OK to park where I did yesterday. This guy went off. He started screaming at me and my wife and ranting about all the other parking options available. I immediately apologize and left. Bottom line he could have just said no. His tirad lost a customer and gained a 1 star review for the business.

Trust the 1 star reviews. I got to the store at 4:15pm, closing time was 6 and there was a sign in the door which said they closed at 3. I saw that the back door was open so I walked around back and asked the guy, who was loading supplies into a shed, if I could grab some wiper blades, he said “no, we closed” in the same rude and disrespectful tone as described in other reviews. This is literally a 2 minute transaction. Clearly multitasking is not in this guy’s wheelhouse. Help!, Tahoe is in desperate need of some competent labor.

Do NOT come here if you'd like to get scammed and leave furious. Hands down worst customer experience ever. Old balding dude was incredibly rude not just to us and the 2 other customers waiting in the store, but also to those on the phone. He literally threw the phone off the counter as he picked up for a customer call. Came in for some spare chains and he wouldn't even bother looking at the phone to see the tire. Asked the clearly available younger guy at the counter if they had another part when the old dude shouted at him to basically mind his business and attend any other customers. The 24" bolt cutters he sold us for around $100 cost $20 online. Will never be coming back here again, and I sure wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy being irritated and

I went during the last winter storm the past weekend and the cashier ripped off my dad and I. We came in to get chains, but the cashier insisted we get a different kind of cables instead. Unfortunately, the new cables we purchased weren’t sufficient and this costing my dad 200 bucks adding 300 to the chains we had to get on later in the day. I wouldn’t shop here if you don’t want to get ripped off - ACE down the street can do the similar chains without the pushy cashier.

I have not experienced such a rude sales person in a very long time. He even swore under his breath while I was trying to understand what I was supposed to purchase. The good news is they had what I needed.

The person in here is awful. He gets off on yelling at people. I’ve never been yelled at in a store for asking a question? I didn’t want to drive to truckee to grab a part but honestly I should have, it just ruined my entire day. Some people are just mean and don’t deserve your money. Please shop anywhere else.

I was stuck in Tahoe with a vehicle that doesn't allow snow chains, and the guy at this store recommended Tire Socks, and they worked great! When the weather calmed a bit it got us all the way past the chain checkpoint and quick and easy to take off on the side of the freeway. Napa Auto parts was a life saver.
