Nordstrom Rack

This just wasn't a good experience at all, from a Customer's standpoint. While I did have a positive interaction with the young greeter, I found that many of the employees I engaged with were less than welcoming. It was surprising, especially considering my background—I previously worked for Nordstrom in a seasoned role before the pandemic and have 20 years of experience as a Customer Service Trainer. I understand that experiences can vary, and perhaps I simply didn't interact with the right individuals. However, the attitude I encountered felt out of place for a retail environment, especially given the values of customer service I have always held. I believe there is an opportunity for the team to enhance their training to better exemplify the exceptional customer service that Nordstrom is known for, especially when you're working for an off-shoot of Nordstrom. My advice? Don't be pretentious. Don't present a hubris you have not earned simply because your workplace has the name 'Nordstrom' in it. I was here for an interview, and walked out the door when I realized how rude the individuals are. I'd never, ever work in such an environment, and only applied because the recruiter had my name as a past employee and wanted to see if I was interested.

I am new to Nordstrom Rack, and I mainly shop only online. I have been to 3 different store locations, and I find that the Pinole Vista location is my favorite. It is a bit smaller than the others but I find that they have just as much to offer as the others. Maybe less clearance racks and less shoes, but a nice variety of clothing. I also find them to be much nicer there and the efficiency better.

I recently visited this store with my teenage daughter to shop for a trip, but had an extremely uncomfortable experience. I noticed a man following us around the store, pretending to browse near us in various sections, including women's clothing and shoes. Despite intentionally moving around to avoid him, he continued to follow us until I confronted him and he walked away. I'm not sure if he was security or someone trying to rob me. If it was security, I’m very disappointed, as I spend thousands of dollars each year between Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This experience made me feel unsafe, and if I didn’t urgently need items for my trip, I would have left. I will not be returning to this location.

Their clearance prices are still too high. Unless you love this particular brand, it isn't the best place to buy affordable clothes.

It was such a pleasant surprised to walk in to this store, everything was beautifully organised and very appealing to the eye. Costumer services was incredibly welcoming and attentive from beginning to the end. I regain hope that stores like this one will be back to the way it used to be. I am definitely coming back even though I leave in Pacifica.

Great to see Nordstrom Rack close by! The store is just like any regular Rack, abundance of clothing options, a lot to choose from. I’ve been 2 or 3 times and so far no lines to make return and employees are very friendly. Easy parking.

I stopped by opening day. Nothing to buy disappointed. Nordstrom rack used to great and now most locations downgraded. Most of them you can purchase from online much cheaper like Temu. They just changed labels and same quality as Temu. Left empty handed 🙄

We went this last Saturday and I feel there was nothing special, a lot of items didn't have $$ to know how much they cost., Also the hallway in the shoe department was way too narrow. I feel that was so overcrowded with too many racks, but again nothing really interesting to buy. Sorry Nordstrom Rack
