Great Dive back in 2023 super easy walk in very relaxing cavern dives. Mike was great easy going and professional - I really question any negatives from others based on my experience. I will definitely look Mike back up on my next trip.

I dove with Mike in 2023 at Pupukeea (Sharks Cove) and will say he is one of the most enjoyable dive masters I’ve ever been with. And just a generally nice and generous person. I tipped him 120% of his fee. He’s a super chill, laid-back surfer brah who I would’ve never guessed is a US Marine. He actually has a pretty cool life story so be sure to ask. His rental gear was all completely brand new also which was nice for us. I’m pretty sure anything negative you see is his ex-girlfriend trying to ruin him. Here are pics of us there with him for proof.

I can't say enough good things about Mike. This guy took me on my first shore dive and really went the extra mile to make sure I had a good time. We had a blast diving electric Beach. I'm a big dude and he even carried my weights out there for me to the water. He's a great dive master and tour guide. Check them out if you're on Oahu.

I have been certified since 1994 and I have over 123 completed dives and been a lot of places. I first dove with Mike in 2022 when he started North Shore Dive Shop. Let me say, Mike excels in trying to make every one's dive the best it can be. He even carried my wife's equipment, a long with his, down to the shore. If there is something you want just ask and he will get it done. He knows the island well and points out a lot of things I had missed. He is very relaxed and relates to people well. As and old experienced diver I highly recommend him.

I can’t say enough good things about North Shore Dive Shop. From booking to the actual dive, everything was seamless. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made us feel like part of the family. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about diving. The boat was comfortable, the gear was in excellent condition, and safety was always a top priority. This is how a dive shop should be run. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My wife had a great dive with Mike back in Sept 2023. He had quality gear prepared for us and was obviously focused on safety. He offered me a refund since I had gotten sick the day before and couldn't join on the dive. We intend to dive with Mike again 🙂

I had an amazing experience with Mike and Zoe at North Shore dive shop. Mike even went out of his way to make it so that I could get my certification despite tough circumstances I was working with.
The dives were amazing and really well planned, and the instruction was top-notch.
Their thoughtfulness and support during my certification meant the world to me, and I still think sometimes about how kind and generous Mike was during the entire experience.
