This is only the third Google review of a company I have written, but I wanted to take a moment to express how great my experience with OC Family Gold was.

After speaking with Jake on the phone, I brought in a collection of gold jewelry that my brother and I had inherited but did not personally want. Jake was personable, forthright and thorough in his analysis of each item. He took the time to explain to me the current market conditions, and how they may affect pricing. He also explained to me the method for determining karat value which, as a science teacher, I found quite interesting. As I said, Jake was personable. Every item weighed exactly matched what I had previously determined, which added to my trust in the transaction. He was gracious to my needs, in that even though I had given him permission to do what he needed in order to properly ascertain the karat value of each item, he still asked my permission before working on each piece I brought in.

As a coin collector myself, having at least some knowledge of the process of buying and selling precious metals, I found OC Family Gold's pricing to be fair and reasonable. I felt Jake's offer was on the high end of what I could have hoped to receive. I can say in all sincerity that from the moment I walked in the door, I felt I was being treated honestly and fairly.

On a side note his assistant, whose name I cannot recall, was extremely gracious with my son, who was talking his ear off about Pokemon.

I don't know if I will be in the possession of tradable gold again, but if I am, I will be coming to OC Family Gold.
