Response to store: Policies and processes are convenient in this case and since you brought up capitalism and free/fair markets, let's have a conversation there. The reason customers go to the large retailers is because of consistency of experience and willingness to find, understand pain points, and create new solutions or even business models in an ever evolving ecosystem.

Where a 'small' retailer has leverage is in their service, everything else has been commoditized away from their control (product selection, brand, convenience, price, etc). I'm sure that feels like a tightening noose but in moments like this you literally have the ability to, with a bit of...yes, effort; differentiate, turn a detractor into a promoter, and win future business.

Under new ownership. The new owner Scott is truly a great guy and very knowledgeable in the mechanical and parts industries. If he doesn’t have the part, which usually he does, it will come the next day. Since Scott took over the shelves have been fully stocked with all the supplies a person could need as well as an expanded inventory! This place is really great.

Scott and his team are the benchmark for how customer service should go. I needed a specific part while driving thru town on vacation so I called ahead a week in advance to order it. Scott took the order, confirmed all the information, and then called me nearly every day to give me a status update. He knew my delivery window would be short since I was only passing through but he got it done in a timely manner and consistently ensured I knew the status. I highly recommend NAPA in Big Oak because of Scott and the team's approach to quality and customer service. Thanks for saving my trip!

Love Pine Mountain Auto Supply/NAPA. I decided to install a backup camera in my 2007 F150 and was worried about ordering online from literally hundreds of choices and then trying to find a reliable installer. Scott was terrific at helping me narrow down to the perfect solution from NAPA, it arrived the next day. Paul and Zack at The Tire Shop (across the parking lot) installed it and I couldn't be happier (or feel safer!) Best of all, I know if I have any problems with the system, Scott will have my back. There's absolutely no reason to go anywhere but down the road to Pine Mountain Auto Supply to get everything I need for my truck.

Scott, saved the day!!!!
We were staying at a nearby RV park, and our electric jack went out. We have never been to this town and noticed a “big name “ hardware store, so we went there. Not what I’d call friendly service or very helpful. We found what they had, but a lot more money than we were wanting to spend. While we were in line, I asked a worker if I could print out 4th grade Yosemite pass. That was a no and I felt bad for even asking.
Luckily, the guy in front of us suggested we try across the street.He said how nice they were there and probably have what we need. So, across the street was Napa Auto Parts. We saw there was a Closed sign. (On a Saturday?) but back door was open with a truck there.
It was Scott, the new owner. He let my husband in and found us what we needed for a lot less money!
He was also more than happy to print out our daughter’s Yosemite pass❤️
We wish him much success and the Community is very lucky to have a business that goes out of their way for their customers!!!

The family and I headed to Yoesemite on Feb 20th and while at the park our car battery died. We called NAPA Auto Parts - Pine Mountain Auto Supply and luck would have it Scott picked up even though they closed for the day. Scott had the battery in stock and promised to stay until we arrived at his store. Scott provided the tools necessary to change the battery. This is called great customer service.

Scott (Owner/Manager) went well above and beyond call of duty to assist us. I highly recommend NAPA Auto Parts - Pine Mountain Auto Supply

Would give 0/5 stars if possible . Called and asked a couple of questions and Employee 33 was extremely rude. Said and I quote “there’s no way I made a mistake it was your fault” and when I asked something to clarify what he meant he said “well that’s what I just said didn’t I?”. Customer service is terrible. Would not come here ever again if it was my only option. I hope a manger or store owner does something about this because the attitude given to customers is going to start affecting your business.
