I've had to go into this place several times for x-rays, MRIs, images, etc. They accept my insurance. They have always been very accommodating when scheduling. The last time I went in at 8:00 to get an x-ray, I was out of there by 8:10. That's impressive! Try to schedule your appointments first thing in the morning.

I have always gone here for some testing and the people have always been nice some more than others. I had an appointment shortly before Christmas and got there for two different tests but one was canceled and they couldn't figure it out at first. Finally, she was able to find my original appointment and was told it was canceled and that they called me earlier in the morning and left a voice mail but I checked and there was none. I would have moved both appointments to another day if I had known. Emergencies happen but I should have been notified by voicemail and text to make sure I was notified. This is the second time I went to my appointment got here and was told there was an emergency and the appointment was canceled. Patients get charged if they cancel less than 24-48 hours but I have now had a tech cancel within a few hours of my appointment and had to move my appointment and wait longer for the test. Emergency happens but there should be a backup or something for when that happens. It's now been twice and if I remember right in the same department.

The best radiologists in SLO County. They are very professional and well organized. There was no waiting. The MRI process went smoothly, and the radiologist was very efficient and very nice. My overall experience was excellent.

This place is the worst. I had to drive 30 minutes to a 7:15am appointment and then when I got there they told me that their office canceled my appointment but never informed me. They rescheduled for the same time a couple weeks out. I got a phone confirmation reminding me of my 7:15 appointment. I showed up at 7:07 and waited in line to check in until 7:30. Once I got to the check in, the receptionist told me that I was supposed to be there at 6:45. I told her no. When they cancelled my first appointment without notice, they rescheduled with the exact same time which was a 7:15 check in. She then had the nerve to tell me even so it is 15 minutes past that time now. I literally waited in line there for 20 minutes. She checked with the imaging department to see if they could fit me in but they were too backed up and they were going to have reschedule. Nope! I will never go back.

The first experience, the tech referred to my wife as my mother. Very uncool and hurtful to my wife, who has health issues. The second time, they came out and said we had to wait for 3 hours past our appointment time because of some stupid reason; it was clear the person was lying. The admin then told another lie the next day about what happened. The third experience was total misreading of a result. Her doctor had to call RA and ask them to read the results again; they got it right the second time. Don't go to these people, particularly the clowns at the Pismo location.

I am surprised to see some of the negative reviews, as my experience has been different. I have had two MRIs done here over the past year and everything, down to the person on the phone scheduling the appointment, was great. First of all...they ANSWER the phone. This is huge, as the other two imaging places on the Central Coast do not. You have to call over and over for an hour or two (no exaggeration) to get through. The front desk was pleasant, I was seen in a timely manner, the MRI techs were friendly and professional. Just had to schedule a CT scan and Radiology Associates was my first choice, hands down.

I've been coming here for 6 years and have only ever had decent experiences but can not say the same of my recent mammogram. Front office staff were very nice but I was taken to the back by some young person who didn't say a word to me, then I waited in the hallway way too long listening to several staff chatting about nonsense, only to have my mammogram done by someone who clearly was not experienced. It was very unpleasant, almost painful and I couldn't wait for it to be over.

One of the worst experiences in a medical office, hands down. Upon checking in I was informed that I was scheduled wrong- totally fine- people make mistakes. While trying to confirm that I'd be seen for the correct service, the front desk gal asked the tech assigned to me to confirm that she could accommodate me. Immediately upon looking at the order (which states bilateral scans to be done) and hearing what I was requesting (bilateral scans as instructed by my doctor), the tech visibly smiling and chuckling the entirety of our interaction, was stating that she would decide what was needed. She then proceeded to make the decision, against the written order from the doctor, to complete a limited exam rather than a complete exam. Already in a vulnerable state and seeking help, being laughed at and mocked left no room for me to desire any conversation during my exam. Kelly the tech decided to double down - while I'm naked in her room, and in between laughs, stating that I could find another tech to help me if I didn't want to explain to her all of my symptoms...the type of thing you do with your doctor who then refers you over to this center for further care. Kelly stated that I HAD to explain further to her in order for her to do her exam. This is false. She stated that at my age I can't have that much radiation. Also false. I'm so sorry to anyone who is seeking help and is met with this atrocity of a woman. I have worked in the patient care industry for over 15 years and I have never seen such horrible care given. Under no circumstances should Kelly be allowed to interact with patients further than her scope of work, and even that is iffy!
