The worst RMU. Extremely short staffed and the bar is not taken care of. Dirty tables and service is extremely slow. The Food took forever to make and it's horrible. Given the price they charged, I expected more.

Felt like an overpriced dive bar....

Parking spots are hard to find.

RMU does not have a huge menu for lunch but what is on it is amazing! I had the Burrata is exceptional and it is a very large portion! My friend really enjoyed her Classic Caesar Salad. The ambiance was wonderful, casual seating on a shaded outdoor deck, it just doesn't get any better!

Weird setup. No one greet you, have to figure things out you. Waited over an hour for (1) our dishes and it was cold. Wish the bartender would’ve told us it was gonna take over an hour to get our food. I canceled our order and left before the rest of it came out. 90min. Would not go back there again..

We ordered food to-go. We had the burger (decent), Caesar salad (good), mushroom sando (the bread that very soft and soggy, almost felt like old bread, the mushroom was alright - I could not finish the sandwich), grilled cheese with tomato soup (the bread was also very soft), and mac n cheese (very small portion for the price, and it was alright). The worst part of the experience is that we automatically got charged 20% gratuity for ordering 5 items, even though we ordered it to go, like seriously? If I knew I would have placed 2 orders then. That alone already got a bitter taste to our mouth. Will definitely not come back, though I admit if you just come for drinks, it might be fun.

Went in last night and it had a great vibe - buzzing. The sweet potato curry was phenomenal. The wild mushroom sando was outstanding. Both exceeded our expectations for bar food. Great to see stuff other than burgers on the menu. Food came out fast. Service is at the bar which is difficult as its full of people sitting there but the lady behind the bar clocked us and we eventually ordered. She was on her own but held it down well and gave attentive service. They could do with one more person working. Otherwise really enjoyed it.

We came for Thirsty Thursday (2 for 1 Craft cocktails) - really cool space, and the drinks were delicious! But the 1 Bartender working was really overworked and also trying to train at the same time.. We tried to order quickly, and didn’t realize until afterwards that you have to actually mention the 2 for 1 discount to get it. It felt upsetting and unfair for both the Bartender (that the promotional discount is on the most time-consuming and involved drinks to make) and for us as the customers (came for the special and ended up just waiting a longer time to pay full price since we didn’t actually specifically mention the discount while ordering).

Wanted to try new places our second time in Truckee and ended up here. We came in right at opening, 2pm. We sat at the bar. The gal didn't give her name but was completely absorbed in conversation with her coworker who was off that day. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu and the food & drinks were delivered rather quickly. The burger was a very good, hand packed pub burger with fresh fries. My husband had the blonde ale and I a well drink. We took advantage of the train crossing and had a well shot for $3 each. The building is an amazing three story historical. ( Had to add that).
The bill came and everything full price! "Oh, I forgot it was happy hour", was the response. "I can't do a new bill, the system is weird. I'll just give you a discount." The bill should've been $45 and was $64. She gave a $16 discount. Maybe pay a little more attention to your patrons?!?!

We sat in the downstairs area which was had an amazing atmosphere. Great spot for an evening drink and meal. We had burgers and duck fries which I had never tried before but loved them.
