Stay here for the glitter river! ✨
RV camped in site 5 pull thru only W/E. Plenty of shade, gravel lots, saw other people complained online about septic by their picnic tables so I choose no septic and will use the dump station. Only used laundry facility and was clean and worked properly. Has a wonderful river to swim in and if you have kids, grandkids or enjoy a cool, refreshing swim you need to choose this park. The river is full of flakes of pyrite so it sparkles gold when the sun hits it✨✨✨. River (swimming hole) has both shallow and deeper places to swim with rocks in the middle to sit on and facility is close to the national park. There is a small village for gas and a few restaurants. Would stay here again.πŸ‘

The front desk closes at 16:00, but they'd left full, easy to follow instructions for us. We saw the receptionist the next day and she was very helpful, dealing with our change of dates and a refund very easily. Thank you.

The site is nice, and in a great location, but only averagely maintained - if you are looking for immaculate, this isn't for you. But if you want more of a "rural" feel, this would be great.

We thought the spacing between the pitches was fine and hookup was easy. Our pitch had no shade and it was VERY hot. Others did have plenty of shade. The toilet block was quite a walk from our pitch, and was, again, only averagely maintained. It was very small for the size of the site.

We enjoyed our stay, but with just a bit more care, the site could be really good.

This is a nice, quiet campground. It was 90-105 degrees during our stay. We had shade for the first half of the day in our space, number 6. The swimming hole is great for young kids and older kids. The wifi was slow during the day and evening. Tmobile has no service. There is a take&share game, movie, and toy closet in the main office, very nice to have. Office staff was nice. Prices were cheap. Park is 2 miles from small village with gas, 8 miles from NP entrance, and 20 miles from the big Sequoias. It isn't the campground's fault that the National Park is so big and has twisty roads. We have fun here.

Spacious but basic RV park. Has a nice swimming hole and good WiFi. Amenities are limited, had some dixie toilets and paid showers. Tow a car as bigger motorhomes cant enter Sequioa from this side.

When we initially got there we were in a non hookup site as we have full solar - absolutely no shade - which would have been fine if the weather had not been so hot. We were able to move to a partially shaded site right on the river. It was perfect for us. Found the staff very friendly, the overall maintenance from what we used was fine. Did not use the shower, toilets or laundry. The river was great and the best place to cool down.

Even over the 4th of July the campground was quiet at night. Would definetly book here again.

We stayed here for 1 night in the middle of June! It’s a beautiful RV Park right on the river! It’s well off the beaten path so it was very quiet! The RV Park was clean and sites were plenty big enough for our big 5th wheel rig! The office staff was very kind and helpful in directing us to the Sequoia National Park! Thank you for a pleasant experience! 😊

The front desk had closed early (we got there at 4:30 sign reads Closed 5 p.m.) when we arrived. Our registration envelopes were conveniently hanging out front amongst other expected guests. The posted instructions to go to the front office to complete the registration the next morning. Front desk was helpful and friendly. However, walking back to our campsite (compared to many other rv stays we experienced), we found that the guys driving around the small electric "golf" carts aren't too friendly. I guess we are used to having staff zipping by and always either smiling or waving; not here. It would have added a welcoming touch which this location neglected. I also noticed none of the newly vacated sites were never groomed by staff. I usually been to other campgrounds were maintenance would come by, check/switch off the power, rake or sweep up the vacated site, basically tidy up; not here. The pull thru sites are very close to one another. The hookups are located almost in the middle of your rv site; meaning you may find yourself directly in front the your neighbor's sewer/dump connection. We like to hang out/cook right outside our rv. Given the narrow rv site, the ridiculous view/sometimes smell of the sewer would occasionally put a damper on our spot. It basically felt like we were going to eat/or hang out with an open toilet in front of you. Lots of very fine dirt so be prepared; at times if felt like camping in a dust bowl. Everytime a vehicle drove by, a cloud of fine dirt kicked up; not too good when youre eating or relaxing. I recommend reserving your rv site along the river. Those sites seemed to have more room and definitely a better view of the river. If you are planning to arrive at after sunset, it is absolutely dark. Great if you are already settled in. However, after dark, site numbers are too small and hard to spot. One side of the campground (office side), there are two port a pottys. It was a Monday morning, I decided to make use of them. There was hardly any chemical liquids in either one. Both had poop pyramids stacked almost toilet lid level. It was "clean" equipment but the waste was ridiculously disgusting. There are two, single person shower-only facilities nearby with an outdoor sink for washing dishes as I seen tent campers doing earlier. The opposite side of the campground (near the river) has fully functioning toilets. The campground's location is very good. Although the main gate is near by, the trek up the mountain from the main gate to the Giant Forest Museum was about 40 minutes. The trip to Visalia is in the opposite direction and could be from 40 to 50 minutes away. That town has all the comforts that you will need. Good place to visit. Cell phone service is very weak at the campground. The campground's Wi-Fi showed as excellent yet it was too weak to stream movies. I had better service here if I disconnected from the wifi and relied on my spotty network. The river was very nice. I saw kids playing in the water. Lots of small business/restaurants near by. This place was okay for our immediate needs but I can't say we will come back.
Footnote: One of groundskeepers came up to us and asked us if we had e-bicycles? He continued to say that for the past year, someone is coming to the campground and stealing them for the past year. We don't have bikes of any kind, so beware. One pic depicts neighbor's sewer hookup setup directly in front of our door/awning area. It's closer than it looks.

The campground are spacious but very dusty. No grass at the campsites. Creek is nice.
