I took my FJ cruiser here for a lift kit a few months ago. This is the best shop around. They did incredible work in a reasonable amount of time without charging an arm and a leg. Annie in the office is very knowledgeable and will help you pick the right stuff for your rig!

I took my 1998 Tahoe in for shocks. Whilst they were removing one of my front wheels the ball joint came off right along with it. Upon further inspection, they found suspension and steering parts that needed replacing. Annie and the guys teamed up and found a way to save me money and get a fully rebuild suspension. Places now just don't do that. They care and they want you to know it. My Tahoe will go to no other for repair. Customers come first and thier services is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Shaffers was recommended to me by another shop that I was contacting to lift my truck, and man, they did not disappoint. If you're like me and don't do a whole lot of off-roading and want to keep the functionality of your ride, Shaffers will help guide you in the right direction without selling you extras that you don't need or want. All in all, I think it's a great shop for people new to the game or those who have been in it for a while. Unless it's dealer-related, this will be the only place that touches my ride.

I had put off my suspension install on my '98 Land Cruiser for over a year. Several shops had been non-responsive or unprofessional, delaying the installation even longer. I passed Shaffers on my way home one day and sent them an e-mail (my preferred communication method) the next day. They responded quickly and were able to provide a quote for the suspension work which was in line with what I was expecting.

The truck was dropped off in the morning and was done by early afternoon. The workmanship was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I am recommending Shaffers to coworkers and anyone i come across that needs work done on their rig.

My 05 Silverado 1500 4x4 had a posi unit that had been showing signs of trouble in the near future quite awhile now. I've been babying it for a long time now. Anyway, the gm posi decided to start coming apart Sunday of last week. I explained to Annie that my wife and I had just recently open our own Nail Salon. Being Christmas week, I had to be there to help my wife. after my regular day job. The team at Shaffer did an awesome job at getting my truck back to me the same week.
Full rear end rebuild, and it drives better then ever, smooth as silk. No more clunk and clanks going into gear. I always had a strange drive shaft rattle. I though it was the output bearing at the tranny tail shaft. It's gone now. Must a have been the excess bearing play I had.
Thanks again guys. I still want to regear when money is available.

Update: 2 years later, I discovered 2 major issues with their installation, first on a track bar the shop discarded that I had to buy again at my own expense, and take it back to get reinstalled, and second on the exhaust line install, which they didn't hang correctly causing it to sit against the driveshaft. In both cases, the shop didn't prioritize repairs ahead of their scheduled customers, meaning that I have had to drive around with unsafe issues and argue with them about their responsibility for them. The second time around I don't have the time to wait for their schedule, so I'm giving up and taking it to another shop that I know I can rely on for quality.

Look no further than this Team for top notch, high quality work and craftsmanship. I had suspension work done on my Wrangler by them. You can tell that care and attention to detail was given. Annie is super friendly and communicates very well. The techs talk and listen to you and answer your questions in great detail. And Mike was fun to talk to about off-roading and overlanding.
