Kelsey and Maddy have helped us so many times when we came to get our engagement and wedding rings! They have been incredibly helpful, patient, and informative. Maddy and Kelsey are also very friendly and kind. We have never felt pressured or rushed in any way.

Shane Co. has the best customer service—highly recommended! We always love coming back. They offer a lifetime warranty, and you can upgrade or exchange your jewelry if needed. They do have a policy for exchanges, so it’s worth asking about the details. I usually hesitate to commit to expensive purchases out of fear of regret, but with Shane Co., I never feel bound.

had an awful experience here & do not recommend at all. Came in with an heirloom piece and we were exploring options to potentially reset the diamond. The staff asked if we wanted to know weight/etc about our diamond and we said sure (we didn’t know anything about diamonds/mounting/anything at this point and fully trusted that these were experts). They took the diamond out of the setting and at the end of the visit we asked if they could put it back and they said no. (again, we didn’t even know this was a whole process to begin with). They weren’t kind at all and we both left feeling icky. Fast forward, my partner went to go reset it at a local jeweler as we decided to keep the ring as is and found out the prongs cracked in the process and the repair and remounting is over $650 and that it would take over three weeks. When we contacted Shane Co about this, we were offered to reset it free of cost but decided against it bc we didnt feel comfortable/ trust them to have the diamond for a long period of time/ or to fix it especially after hearing others having similar bad experiences. I just wanted to share our experience so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else

We were here a week ago to try on wedding bands. We found three that we really liked and were told that they would bring in the correct size for me to try on and made an appointment. Went back today to our appointment and were told the rings were just put into our wishlist and we could come back again to try them on. Made a specific trip to this side of the bay to do this. Only shop here if you want to add frustration to your purchase.

Shane Co is fine if you are shopping their existing wares. I have purchased and been gifted many items from there. But their repair services are subpar. I went in to see about getting my engagement ring repaired. I’ve had it for 21 years and finally lost a diamond. A very sad and emotional experience all around. Anyway, they brought it to the back, came out and said we can’t fix it, we don’t carry that size stone. And then asked if there was anything else they can help me with. Didn’t offer any solutions. I was bewildered and walked out. Alas, I was able to find a family owned local business in Redwood City to do the repair, Mayer’s Jewelry. If anybody else has a similar experience - Mayer’s can get it done in a week’s time and had an excellent price. Shane is not the answer for any repairs. Too bad I also need some new diamond earrings. Guess I’ll be going to Mayer’s with my business for those.

Shane Co. is my go to jewelry store there service is absolutely amazing , I can't recommend them enough. I have bought my wife's engagement ring from them her wedding ring , 3 pairs of earrings my wedding ring and will continue to purchase jewelry from them as long as there still in business. There customer service is top notch they spent hours with my while I looked at diamond for my wife's engagement ring and I never felt rushed , they had one of the female employees try on different rings so I could compare them on the hand , I also never felt like I was being pushed towards a more expensive stone either in fact the sales man actually pointed out how one of the minor flaws on a cheaper stone would be hidden by the setting and because of that I wouldn't need to got with the more expensive stone. The service doesn't stop after you buy your jewelry there either my wife takes in her jewelry on a regular basis and has it clean and has her ring replated(its white gold). The also will replace any of the stones if the happen to fall out of the setting , we haven't need to put this to the test but its nice to know its there. Another nice thing about Shane co is their upgrade policy, let's say my wife wanted to get a bigger stone in her earrings or ring Shane co will give you a the highest price wether its what you paid or what it appraises for.
