I chose this repair shop because of the good reviews and the advertisement that phone screen repairs could be done within 20-30 minutes. My phone screen was inoperable (not cracked, just black) after dropping it, and the guy at the shop quoted me $99 for a "diagnostic" fee. He said that the diagnostic fee would go toward either the cost of a new screen or the cost of whatever the repair would be, which I was completely fine with. He told me what the cost of a new screen would be ($229) and also provided loose quotes for other possible issues. I asked him, regardless of what he determined the issue to be, whether he would be able to repair the phone, which he assured me that he would. He asked me to come back in 45 minutes, and at that time, he said that the phone would need a new screen, which I was completely fine with. He then said that he would have to order the screen! This was the FIRST time that he mentioned that he did not have the phone screen in stock. I would have never paid for a $99 diagnostic fee had he mentioned upfront that the phone screen was not in stock and had I known that there was a chance that the phone could not be repaired today. It was very manipulative to take the $99 diagnostic fee and not tell me until AFTER the fact that he did not have the necessary parts to repair the phone today! I would not have chosen this repair shop had I known this information upfront. I was not even offered a refund when I expressed my dissatisfaction with this. I was just handed my phone back and was told to have a nice day :-).

I paid for a diagnostic on my tablet, they said the lcd screen was bad. I paid to have it replaced. I was cleaning the tablet off to donate to my church. The 2nd time that Iried to use it, it wouldn't power on again... back to Smartfix, by the time I had time to return it was almost 30 days after I picked it up... now a very rude manager required me to pay another non refundable diagnostic fee..
Update***I just received a call from Ali the manager. He said the owner read the review and he said come get my tablet and the 2nd service fee. They refuse further service on their defective parts!!!! Beware stay far away!!!!

I just left SmartFix, and I can truly say that I had a wonderful experience here! I came in because of my Screen on my phone, it was cracked really bad Ali greeted me asking about my circumstance. I just told him and he said give him 20 minutes; he would have it done!!!
He Did just that,( fixed it) in that time or sooner!
He also cleaned my speaker as well it sounds so much better!!! I was so surprise 😲 He’s Really Really good,😊 so if you want your Phone fixed Right, and in a timely manner come here and see Ali…!!!
This is my place now!!! I’m so HAPPY 😁

Boss man got me right twice! Quick and fast, i broke my iPhone 14 Pro Max while i was out of town, came back in town got it fixed by him. I broke my phone again a few days later and i brought it in and you fixed it again same day!
