Rented an oscillating sander and the sander had connection issues due to a faulty plug. We had to do all we could to get the machine to start and it would click off every couple minutes. The sander didn’t take off any of the deck paint and they still charged me half for a faulty machine rental. Plus paper that it ripped through totaled $160 and did nothing for our deck.
You’re better off purchasing a sander from a name brand store and having a better outcome.

Felt like the customer service was poor with the front desk lady. She didn’t seem to care that the item did not work as rented.

Photos show that the sander did not even chip off the lifted paint.

rented a splitter, the guy who hooked it up to my truck was great, he flipped my hitch so it could fit, explained in great detail how to operate the splitter, the machine worked perfectly no problems, brought it back they seemed to be waiting for me, waved me over to where they wanted me to drop it off, was in and out of there in minutes. But, the lady at the desk needs to retire. She is RUDE and abrasive and unfriendly

A local business that's been in operation for over 50 yrs! Amazing to see business's like Sonora rental and sales thriving the way they are and man it feels good to support them when you have the opportunity! This place has alot of equipment even though it was a family run company, the front counter lady was very kind and helpfull,I have rented from larger companies that could learn a thing or two from this place!! If you're not looking for large equipment to get your job done, this is the place I would rent again from here if I had another job to do anywhere near here.

They had the worst customer service when we called about an excavator being delivered with the track all messed up. They refunded the rental, but kept the money for delivery and pick up. The man was rude and childish on the phone. It was a shockingly terrible experience. We would have continued to rent from them for years if it weren't for the horrible customer service and pocketing $250 for a delivery of unusable equipment.

DON'T RENT from SONORA RENTS! We've rented scaffolding from this place twice within 3 weeks. They do NOT keep up their equipment, poorly run company and it could and will effect the safety of their customers, using old rusty equipment! Also given 3 scaffolding planks, and 2 are even and the 3rd is not, much thinner. Had to add wood so all the planks are even. SUCH A TRIP HAZARD! THEY SEEM TO NOT KNOW THEIR EQUIPMENT VERY WELL!
This morning out of frustration I called and talked to a gal to explained the issues with the cross straps safety pins not working because they are rusted through. She said I could talk to the owner. Guess who the owner was......her husband, what a joke! This owner is the same guy my husband told 3 weeks ago of the rust issue, guess he really took it to heart and did NOTHING!
Sooner or later this company will be sued because of not keeping up with the safety features for their equipment and renting out uneven planks for the scaffolding! GOOD LUCK IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS COMPNY!

Such a bummer, we reserved a paint sprayer to use for the next 24 hours and they give it away to someone else. I asked what they could do for me being it was reserved...they said nothing...what amazing customer service!! Don't trust they will hold tools for you when you reserve them. Not even a discount offered for our complete inconvenience or a phone call letting us know it was no longer there. Had to drive down the hill 20 minutes to find this out...just lame!

Visited for the first time today. Needed a porta power to finish up some body work. Unfortunately they didn't have anything because people just don't ask for it that often. The owner seemed nice enough his wife was right there too I guess it's just a better place to go if you need to rent large equipment.
