Always upbeat and helpful. Regardless of having cats, kittens, and some pups there, it never smells like so many places that I've been to. Even large name places. Lot's of different things to select from. From pet supplies, crafts, clothes, etc. One of my favorite places

Hi. We are Locke & Ann Glossner. We lived in BVS from 1990 to 2010. In 2007 our 16 year old yellow lab was starting to run down & we had decided that when we lost her, no more dogs. Well that thought went by the wayside when we saw a picture in the paper of a little black dogge named "Black Velvet". Lynda Pearson was handling her adoption. We called her within minutes, letting her know of our interest in that little dog. We were lucky to be the first of several callers. Ten minutes later we were holding her, saying we would love to adopt her. Thanks Lynda for letting us take her home. She is still with us here in San Diego, nearly 12 years old,
no longer all black but very grey in the face, slowing down some but just as smart & funny as ever. One of the family. Thanks again.for taking care of our furry friends.
