Ace Hardware (est 2024/11) is a brand new hardware retail store located in a large plaza in Temple City. Its store is very spacious, organized and very clean. Similarly, it’s well lit and smells like a brand new car. lol.

They sell a wide range of products, such as building materials, fasteners, hand tools, power tools, keys, locks, hinges, chains, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, cleaning products, housewares, bulbs, grilling tools, utensils, paint, and lawn and garden products.

I came to look for light bulbs for my desk lamp. And they have what I was looking for. Staff were competent, friendly and professional. Prices seem fair.
Overall, it’s a nice hardware store.

Store is pretty big and just opened in October! Customers service is good, employees are very friendly and willing to actually help you out.
Also they have air purifier back in stock and whole bunch of flashlights, batteries, and propane powered lanterns by Coleman!!!

My wife and I went looking for safes for our documents. Employees were extremely helpful. Even though they only had one example. They were willing to order whatever we needed. It's refreshing to get such great customer service.

This review is regarding our experience returning a product that did not work for us. We purchased a ladder that we thought would fit in our storage space. Before purchasing we asked about the return policy because if it didn’t fit in our storage space we’d have to return it. The young guy that assisted us said that would be fine as long as it wasn’t used, in the same packaging and within 30 days. When we got home the ladder did not fit our storage. The next day was a holiday so we went to return the ladder the day after and was questioned like we were on trial by a woman, possibly manager, in the store. It was clear she did not want to allow us to return it, despite the return policy. Thankfully, the guy (who helped us when we made the purchase) was there and came up to assist. To our surprise, she still persisted with her questions. My husband, a very patient guy, advised that nothing was wrong with the ladder, no tape or packaging was removed and wondered what the problem was, especially since the guy remembered him. We were FINALLY able to return the ladder but the experience was awful and definitely not customer friendly. This was our first time shopping at an Ace Hardward store and can’t say we’ll return to this location. Sheesh!

My new go-to DIY hardware store. Steve in the paint section is an absolute expert in all things paint. After going to some brand name paint stores in the area with average service and poor results, Steve took a tiny chip and gave me an exact paint match in Benjamin Moore paint. He took lots of time to help me with how to paint and what would be the right products for my needs and budget. All the other employees I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Brand new store. Went to grand opening in November 2024. The store is very spacious, and well lit. Courteous staff and well stocked. Large parking lot. Ace Hardware has been around for a lot of years, and some of the stores are dark and out dated. This is a welcomed surprise.

Overpriced store. One example selling a string separately from the light bulbs is crazy, $80 in total. Walmart and Home Depot has it at half the price. I don’t even know how they will stay in business with them hight prices. I would go back only as a desperate emergency if I need some kind of tool at that moment to complete a project or repair.
