My girlfriend and I visited this shop while on vacation in SF and were really impressed. We found The Cave online while researching quality glass sellers and decided to check it out. The store is known for its American-made glass, but a worker mentioned they’ve recently added a small selection of imports to appeal to a wider audience.

I’m not an expert, but their selection was impressive, with well-crafted designs and plenty of cute options. The staff was incredibly helpful—one worker, in particular, answered all our questions with transparency and never felt pushy. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he mentioned he manages their online store.

We ended up purchasing a piece at a great discount, and the quality seems excellent.

This shop is so much fun to shop in for glass water pipes and accessories. They carry the latest blown glass from famous and skilled glass artists.

They are happy to explain and show you the craftsmanship.

One of the most elite glass shops in the world. The best inventory of heady glass and real top tier artists I have ever seen. They have something for everyone. Their inventory ranges from generic china glass to legacy glass blowers like Mobius, Hamm Brushland and Ben Wilson. Also the biggest inventory of top end scientific glass certified from companies like Illadelph and Roor.

I have been an online customer over a decade but finally made my way to the shop last night.

Very well stocked smoke shop with a diverse selection. The staff are nice and funny, willing to explain. My first CBD experience, using their vape pen, drink, edible, and tincture. Can recommend this place to anyone in San Mateo or passing through.

Placed an order online. Called the store 20 minutes before closing Marissa answered all my questions and just to be safe asked that I call the next day in the am. Called the next day spoke with Jay advises him on my error on shipping method(selected pick up). Said he'd ship it out that same day. Saved me a 6hr drive appreciate you guys

Great service. I use to get my vapes here. Sadly I moved up the road to Burlingame and this location is just to far from me. One learns a lot about a business when things don't go as expected. I ordered a Sov on line after the drop. My piece arrived shattered. I called the Cave and left my number with someone there who said they would relay it to the necessary person. Within an hour I was called back by Jay. I really can't say enough about his professionalism, competence, and friendliness. The Cave had my back every step of the way, and when I informed them that I really wanted the piece as opposed to a refund, they contacted Sovereignty and arranged for them to send me out the exact same piece. What else is there to say? I look forward to many more purchases from the Cave. Thank you Jay!

Excellent smoke shop! Jay and Blake are the greatest and go out of their way to ensure good customer service. I bought a couple pieces from them and they ship quickly and securely. Edit April 2024: I've ordered a couple more times from them since they seem to have the best selection, especially high end glass. Again they continue to offer outstanding service. I would give them more than five stars if I could. 👍🏻🙌🏻
